I've been diving for 15 years and The Reef Marina is one of the best dive operations that I've experienced. The staff are friendly and accommodating, the dive packages are very reasonably priced, and nitrox is no additional charge. If you're staying in Playacar, you can walk to the shop. I'll dive with Stephan's team during my trips to Playa del Carmen exclusively from here out.

Despite being an all-inclusive, the staff smile and hustle as if they were being paid for the extra effort. We sneaked tips to our regular staff as a token thank you. The entertainment staff were "on" all day and all night. The grounds were excellent, with a great blend of private spaces or "rooms" such as the heladeria, the afternoon coffee, the morning yoga area, the volleyball, the two pools, the three bars, the two levels of beach, the long wading surf zone, the two separate restaurants or the buffet. This is what you hope to get with an all-inclusive.

I had a great experience with the team at Reef Marina last weekend. They picked me up at my hotel in Playa del Carmen on time. We did the entire whale shark experience with great success flawlessly.

Second day, we did the cenotes and I must stay I had total confidence in the guide/dive-master. He could not have been more helpful, informative, and knowledgeable. And the cenotes were inspiring!
After the dive, they drove me to the dive shop to take care of the bill and then spent time driving around to take care of some special computer issues I had.
I highly recommend this group of great professionals. They are as good as it gets.
