Stingray beach is not only a place to have fun, it is also a sanctuary for the rays, an interesting fact is that here at stingray beach they contribute and liberate rays every year to help, due to the rays not being protected. The people here are super friendly, especially our guides Arturo and Pedro, very professional, really glad I had the chance to come and not only had fun but also learned a couple things about these fascinating creatures.

Fantastic small group experience in the off season. The guide clearly loves these animals. He was so knowledgeable. Feeding, holding and swimming with the stingrays is an amazing experience!

I booked 2 activities from here. Arturo is my guide for both activities (snorkeling and playing with Rays) and would recommend him! He's knowledgeable and care the ocean. Also he take a very nice picture! 👌👌👌

We absolutely loves this shore excursion. Our guide (Edgar) made everything fun and enjoyable with humor and answering all of our questions. We had a large group (overall) and the friendly staff was phenomenal with ensuring we were all prepared and had all the gear necessary for a safe activity.

The event started with a short briefing about the activity and the safe handling of the stingrays. Our guide covered everything and told us all that we needed to know. I've never been so informed when starting an activity. It was not rush and was very thorough. After, we all hung around and mingled, took pictures and enjoyed beverages from their small bar. The restaurant didn't seem functioning, but most of us didn't worry about that.

Love the people working here. They were awesome. Stingrays and animals were great..transportation was great and easy too. The only downside is there's not really free time to snorkel. It's organized.

5 minutes from port, Stingray Beach was fantastic! We learned a lot about stingrays, were able to pet and hold them and then on to snorkeling. Our guides Fernando and Cesar were the best! They were helpful, funny and knowledgeable. In fact, all the employees there were very kind, which made us feel comfortable. This excursion was well worth the money! Here's a tiphave your suit in and ready to go. It's very humid and sticky, which makes changing into a suit a little tricky.

We chose to visit Stingray Beach as an excursion through our cruise ship, Royal Caribbean's Liberty of the Seas. It was a great choice! Our facilitators were Edgar and Itzel, both were very knowledgeable and shared their expertise in a very relaxed and humorous manner. Our tour consisted of three parts, in the first we snorkeled in a very large pen which was probably 20 feet deep in places. The enclosure contained probably 50 rays, numerous tropical fish and one nurse shark. Snorkel gear was provided as part of the tour including a life jacket for those leery of the water depth. The water was crystal clear and there were plenty of opportunities for photos of the wild life. In the second part we moved to a shallower enclosure where we had the opportunity to get up close with the rays and pose for several pictures taken by the staff's photographer which were later available for purchase. This portion was concluded with an informative educational segment provided by Edgar. Lastly we had the opportunity to hand feed the rays. Highly recommend this excursion. Also there is a bar and small restaurant on site which provides welcome refreshment after the activities.

Had the best time here with my son. Edgar is the amazing he is very knowledgeable and you can tell he loves hos job. The whole staff was amazing!!! A great excursion will your in Mexico. Will be back asap!!!

We LOVED the experience and thought Pedro was fantastic! He's very passionate about what he does and he's focused on improving the planet. The tour was great! We fed some rays and then snorkeled with other rays, a lobster, and 3 nurse sharks! I highly recommend this tour!

the kids will enjoy this encounter, but it is expensive and your time in the water is very limited, and you spend more time posing for pictures they want to sell you. a short ride from the cruise ship port and a good place to jump off and explore down town.

We had so much fun! It was our first stingray encounter. My mom was a little nervous at first but Pedro assured us we would be ok. Fernando also was very nice. Made my mom feel very comfortable around the stingrays. I enjoyed the snorkeling part. It was my first time and they helped & coached me. I loved every minute we spent there!

Pedro did a great job as our guide! This excursion lasted about 3 hours- we got to feed, take photos with, and then swim with many sting rays. It was all perfectly safe even for first timers and children, everything is very well explained and the barbs are trimmed.
