  ADO is the best and cheapest way to travel around the Maya Riviera, Their buses are comfortable and have movies for your entertainment. Always buy your ticket at least 24 hours in advance of travel and save more by buying a return ticket if possible.

  This is a great, inexpensive service available to tourists wanting to not hassle with taxis (or the negotiating). I took the bus from the Cancun airport to downtown Cancun, and back. There are power outlets on the bus, but the wifi was nonexistent.
  
  At this time (December 2017) the cost is 72/76 pesos, which is a great bargain versus taxis. However, it only goes downtown, and to the other Yucatan citiesso if you are going to the Hotel Zone where the majority of the hotels in Cancun are, you will either have to pay the direct taxi, or go downtown with the ADO bus and take a regular bus (but this will take much longer, and is probably cost efficient for less than 3 people).
  
  I was confused on the trip to the airport, but the driver asks which airline and knows the terminals, but I felt like mine was skipped since the order was different than when I was picked up. You're able to walk to the other terminals and there's a free shuttle, but there's not really a map anywhere to figure it out.

  From there you can go to almost every where.airport bus is every 30 minutes. 2 buses a day for Belize city which is the cheapest way to go to Belize. A lot cheaper than buying a flight to Belize from your home country. Bus time are 7am and 1030 pm to Belize

  Cheap and great quality buses. Don't pay for luggage. It's free unless you have a ton of it. There are platinum buses but that is just a little pricier for extra room and a sandwich & soda. Do it like a Mexican national and take the regular bus. 300 pesos to Xel Ha roundtrip. Can't beat that.

  We wanted to go to Cobá so the night before we went to Ado and asked about what time the bus was leaving. On the morning another Ado employee told us that we had to go through Playa del Carmen and that were gonna be there at 9.30 and that the next bus left at 10 from Playa. We arrived at 10 to Playa and went to buy tickets, where the person working said there's only one bus to Cobá and that it left at 9. So, Ado made us go to Playa early in the morning for no reason.

  The good: nice bus, movies, and a pretty relaxing ride.
  The bad: if you're from the u.s. and its obvious, the porter tries to charge you for luggage. Its a racket. Don't be fooled as I was
