Surprisingly decent bar to grsb drinks before going out. Not too crazy and loud even though it is on the main drag. Staff are solid and you don't get the feeling like somebody is trying to pull a fast one on you like you usually do at most other places in playa.

We have been here several times. As others have said, it's a place we seem to end up. They have burgers with all the fixings, if your craving a great burger. My hubby has ordered the chicken wings a few times. It's hit and miss if they'll be dry or not. The bathrooms are decent. The staff has always been nice and friendly. They have a ramp to get up to the seating section off the street. They offer a 20% discount to locals with proof of your residence card.

We have been to Playa Del Carmen a few times now. We always find ourselves in the Tequila Barrel. Not sure why, other than it's somewhat of a comfort zone for us. It is centrally located on Fifth Avenue and offers decent drinks although somewhat overpriced. Not a bad starting place for the evening. Be careful and check your tab closely, we too have been overcharged.

Took my son and his friends to watch the Juve vs Real Madrid game. A great sports bar with nice ambience. We loved their buffalo wings. Highly recommend this place.

10$ buckets of beer and great selection of tequila. The staff was nice and the currency change was more than far. Great people watching on 5th ave.

Food was WONDERFUL, service was EXCELLENT! We were staying at a nearby resort and ventured out one night. Can't wait to go back!
