It was nice to find a spot on Playa del Carmen that serves German beer, but the prices they charge are pretty high. When we visited it was nearly impossible to get a seat inside, so we had to sit in the outdoor "garden" area. It was pleasant enough aside from the choking cigarette smoke of the people around us (including the proprietor). The cigarette smoke ruined it for me, and we will not be visiting again soon.

great bierstubbe feeling and most importantly, this is the only place in PDC where i found decent draught beer. pork ribs worth a go as well.

Mannes Biergarten is German "Gemuetlichkeit" in the middle of the Mexican Caribbean. The Biergarten is a great place to socialize, eat and of course enjoy an ice cold beer. Manne´s is a must-stop to rest and refresh after a hot day under the Mexican sun.

If you like authentic German food and atmosphere mixed with a Caribbean flair, this is the right place to go. The food is just delicious, the staff very friendly and speaks English, Spanish and obviously German.
