Delicious food! Small portions, quiet atmosphere, very calm and relaxing. We visited with our kids they both ordered spaghetti (different sauces) and loved it. I ordered scallops and the flavors were incredible and fresh. My husband ordered something with squid. We all enjoyed the food a lot. Our only complaint is the portion sizes were small, which for some people is good, but for my husband he likes to eat a lot. So he left still hungry.

This hotel was impossible to contact. The phone either rarely works or is on a busy line every time I called. The 3rd party that we booked it through said when they did finally get through that they were rude and hard to speak with. I attempted to cancel this reservation as my fiance became ill with the flu. We had a note from the doctor saying it was Influenza A. The hotel refused to give even a partial refund for a 4 night stay. No compassion for events outside of our control and that is not how the hospitality industry works. I understand not giving back a full refund but I would hope for some sort of solicitude. They also add additional charges to your bill that are not included in the price quoted so be prepared to spend way more than you even wanted.

Very happy I stayed at Piedra Escondida. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much but they were above and beyond here. They have the cutest little beach here. It’s private and you even get your own umbrella reserved for your specific room. The food is really good, they have great views from the restaurant. Our breakfast were included which was a nice surprise. They’re close to several small shops. The staff is very professional, attentive, and friendly. If you’re looking for an affordable hotel with a beautiful view, helpful staff, great food and great amenities, stay here. You will not regret it. I know I will be staying here again when I visit Tulum!

Had a top notch experience. The food was delicious and the beach view was great. Also the staff was very knoweldgeable and friendly. However, the icing on the cake was when a nest of seaturtles from Piedro Escondida's beach burrowed to the surface and made a break for the surf. All in all, Piedro Escondida had great food, excellent staff, and if you're lucky you might even catch a hundred or so seaturtles run across the beach while there.

absolutely a gem!! me and my wife stumbled into this place after being at a nearby strip of beach all day. we popped in to have some 2 for 1 Happy Hour drinks, ended up booking 2 nights.

the service is amazing. Nayeli, Adrian, Alexis, Efraín, just everyone there is so helpful and pleasant. Service is an easy 5 stars.

the restaurant is amazing. the chef certainly knows what he's doing and the prices are very fair for what they are serving. free breakfast with out stay was so good every morning as well. 5 star food relative to its neighborhood competitors (yes, we even ate at the Azulik rest)

cocktails are the best we had on the whole block as well, and we popped in to plenty of places during our stay. 12-7pm is 2 for 1 happy hour too which also makes it, the best deal on the block. 5 star drinks!

the little beach front is amazing and so nice to have all to yourself.
the rooms are quaint and exactly what they need to be. beds are comfy and the balcony to each room is so pleasant to sit on.

overall just an incredible time staying here. i would highly recommend it to anyone, the service, food, drinks, and location are amazing.

We had wonderful time here. We stayed in room number 6, which was always clean with hot water. Air only came on at 8 pm, but was fine since we were gone most days until late. The air got very cold, which did feel good at night. Bar/cleaning staff were great with our kids, which was wonderful. Beach was really choppy with seaweed, but absolutely stunning. It is very private and peaceful. Thanks to the staff that we're constantly making our daughter warm milk bottles when they weren't even opened for the day yet!

Very nice food and service, don't get confused by the boring look of the place or the tv at the entrance. Just walk on to the veranda and enjoy the dishes.
    But why Classic piano music?

We visited this place to eat somewhere in tulum with a view. The steaks we ordered were pretty good. It has its own parking lot for their clients. The service was just ok; the waiter was polite but forgot to give us our appetizer and beer. Overall, I had a good experience despite not having excellent service and paying for overpriced food.

Best beach Italian food on Tulum Beach. Beautiful building with spectacular views of Hidden Stone (Piedra Escondido) Nice beach to lay on with chairs and hammocks available. Water is a bit stirred up here and bottom can be rocky.

Very nice little bay with rocks on both end and white sand beach in the middle. Great kitchen and cocktails. They go beyond the simple Margarita and actually have some interesting cocktails from local liquors. Relaxed place with great parking on the other side of the road.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around

A little on the spend my side but you get a beautiful room by the beach with a little deck, complete with hammock, and access to a secluded beach with chairs, shade, and towels - so worth every penny. The food at the restaurant is fantastic and the staff are super friendly. Even the wifi is pretty decent which qualifies as a small miracle considering the remote location. Absolutely 5-star experience, wish I could stay forever. Don't hesitate!

It's on its own private beach. It's clean and it's cute. Sea turtles lay eggs on the beach. There's seaweed on the shore, but they do their best to clean it up. Idyllic.
