Stayed there for only one night unfortunately. As soon as we arrived we wanted to stay longer. Excellent place and super nice staff! The private cenote is beautiful

Firstly - very POOR and limited breakfast for 180$ per night! Come on similar glamping sites made it much better.
Otherwise - the place is beautiful, but only for nature lovers. Yes - there are mosquitoes, the shower is cold and white lights are aggressively cold.
But hearing sounds of howling monkeys, singing birds, iguanas walking around or flying bats in a private cenote is unique and priceless. Their cenote has "fish loving your feet" - fish spa included in price :).

Lovely place, wonderful helpful staff. Two cenotes on the property, one of which is fantastic (and is currently the home of at least one small turtle). Restaurant / bar on site, free bike rental and only a short walk into town. Highly recommend it!

We stayed 1 night in this nature glamping. Thanks to José for his warm welcome. 2 beautiful cenotes (open even at night) are to be discovered on site. And the restaurant is excellent!

What a great experience. The best way to camp, the cenote aka sink hole is incredible. All the little fish swim up to you. The food is straight forward and prepared with care. A great place to relax and the massages are awesome. They even use Tibetan bells which are bowls that ring vibrations into your soul. Very cool indeed.

Impecable rooms. No hot water but it's a comfy 78 degrees. On site cenote pool. Completely romantic. Free bikes to town. Just make sure they operateyou don't want want to break down and try to make it back.

Excelent service, with very friendly staff, attentive and authentic. Tents are basic but confortable. Showers don't have hot water but they will provide you with a hot water "thermo" under request. Property has a private cenote to swim in fresh water. Bikes are also included, which comes handy to go to the beach aprox half a mile away.

We visited July 2017 and feel bad for taking so long to send a review. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Akumal Natural. We wanted to have a unique experience. The tents were beautiful and the setting was peaceful. We highly recommend staying here. Thank you to our host, Antonio who made it even more special by taking us to the animal rescue ranch and the cenotes. Food excellent and people gracious. Paul and Gina.

Beautiful place, relaxed atmosphere and super nice staff. We really enjoyed the private cenote they have and took their bikes to the beach (10-20 minutes ride). The cover photo isn't indicative, they are not on the beach.

Great for people who loves being in touch with nature. Great service from the people who work there. You will definitely need a car to move fast and go to the beach or towns around there since the weather is very hot and almost nothing is near but the beach of Akumal.

What a cool place! A monkey sanctuary, this place actually houses all sorts of wildlife for rehabilitation (abandoned exotic pets, etc.) The guide was VERY nice and the tour even provided local snacks! I had such a great time here.

I spent my christmas holidays there and the experience was amazing. Waking up in the middle of the jungle with the birds sound, a cup of cofee in the restaurant, yoga lessons in the ceremonial area and then swiming in the private cenote. The food was great and the staff made me feel at home.

A great experience. A little overpriced and no hot water from the shower (they do bring you hot water on demand). But overall great. The cenote and the bat cave where great. Staff really cool.

Hi there, I was here for the monkey sanctuary. My husband and I enjoyed the day. Walking with our guide Alex and the group looking at all the different monkeys and our guide being knowledgeable about the wild life. Then we had time to interact with the birds and monkeys. Then there was a photographer and she took amazing pictures of the people and animals. .it was a must to purchase the photos.
