It's a comfortable and cute place but small and the food is not the best. But if you want something cheep and comfortable it's an excellent option

This place was great almost to amazing Will stay there again? Yea probably. The area is beautiful, it looks like a miniature jungle from the 2nd floor private rooms (which I used). They have tree mangoes; a variety of trees and plants. The location is close to actual center of the city (restaurants) but far enough from the all the noise and drunk people. Is basically at the exit of the town. The place is adjacent to a Oxxo and in front of a Pharmacy. Parking is exceptional, I always found space to park and they have bicycles to rent!!
Cons;
It wasn't that bad but I really wished they had the things they lacked.
1st) Most Hostels have a public kitchen and fridge. This place has none. SO water will get warm and there were no place to storage the food. I think that every hostel needs to have a public storage/cooking area.
2nd) Restaurant; The complementary free breakfast is made of "2 chaya crepes and fruit" really tasty. The problem is that when I decided to buy a fresh and natural strawberry shake I saw them using syrup.. SYRUP!! ThaFu?? Bro you in Mexico!! get some fresh Berries!!! Also, something we were not aware of is that the "CHEF" is off on Mondays. SO here is my advise for you; Try the free breakfast but also go to "Doña Tina" and dive into home made breakfast food (a few minutes walking).
The GREAT;
Customer service from the desk goes from good to excellent, but never bad. We got to deal most of our time with the Lady that was/is pregnant and she is amazingly helpful. She answered all of our questions and help us out finding good local Restaurants. We did not bring these cons to them because we lacked the time to actually sit and chat. They also have security cameras all around the property, so it is incredibly secure. If this is your fist hostel, don't think about it twice and reserve the spot. We stayed at the Sirena room and we loved it. Bonus; they have hammocks inside the ROOMS!!!!!!!!!!!!response / report this review -

This hostel is magical; it's set in a garden a little ways away from the main part of Tulum. There's a kitchen, access to potable water, and has continental breakfast in a small restaurant attached to the front desk area

Very nice and quite place in Tulum.. we had only breakfast there and it was delicious and the young guy is very nice and polite :-)

Lovely hotel but the mess along the road that pedestrians have to negotiate in Tulum as many other places is third world. Surely the Mexican authorities would want to improve this. It would take much.

Positives: friendly staff, and clean, comfy beds. Negatives: location (it's quite a trek to the main stretch and transport to the beaches), overpriced relative to other, more centrally located hostels in Tulum, and I had a negative experience on my final night. I requested (and paid for) a room with air conditioning. The receptionist said she would turn it on before she turned in for the evening, but when I returned to the hostel later that evening, the air was off and it was very difficult to fall asleep.

Stayed in Tulum for 7 days and ate breakfast here for 3 of them. Amazing food, generous portions and definitely the best service we've had all trip. Absolutely worth a visit.

Great stay for 3 nights. Beautiful hostel with lots of room to relax. Kitchen was minimal but clean, breakfast was nice and staff was even nicer. Would definitely stay again!

This hostal has a beautiful garden with lots of different trees. You get an immediate feel good vibe the minute you walk in. Unfortunately, mosquitoes are also attracted to the garden. It is full of them. Decorations and artwork throughout are very unique and cultural. Breakfast is delicious, but you get the same thing everyday. You do have the option of purchasing other breakfast items. Location: about a 10 minute walk to Tulum center. Overall great hostal, will definitely visit again.

Excellent hotel/hostel for your money. Large communal kitchen and comfy beds for those living the hostal life. Private rooms are very quiet and comfortable. I really enjoyed the breakfast from their enthusiastic chef! What an awesome experience in Tulum!

An oasis. Beautiful interior/garden and good breakfast (homemade jams from the French chef!). Beds very comfortable, hot showers and above-average wifi. Dogs are so cute.
The coffee could be better tho. And the vibe is VERY relaxed. I was there a week and could only get people to go out once. Seems to attract a quiet, introverted crowd. A bit outside the Centro, but just rent a bike.response / report this review
