great school, wonderful teachers! we took more than 20 hours with my daughters, and the 4 instructors were kind, full of patience and dedication. We went to Isla Blanca spot, very shallow waters very easy to learn. Note: take or ask for water shoes, we returned with our feets with some scars.

Me and my friend did a one day lesson with Stefano and his team. When I contacted him he was very accommodating with our schedule and booked us right away. We met him at the beach and all the equipment was ready for us. The lesson went well, just wish I had more time to take more lessons with him. I highly recommend using him for all kitesurfing services.

Had a great experience with PDC Kiteboarding. Amazing school and people who work there!
Nikos who was my instructor was very professional and knowledgeable. I was able to stand up on a board on a first lesson!
Very good communication, super easy to schedule lessons and prompt responses to any questions you have .
Multiple locations for learning, transportation and multilingual instructors.

They responded in few minutes and speak several languages. It was an absolutely fantastic kiting day! They set me up with good, updated gear and helped me a lot with improving my skills. There was no wind in Playa del Carmen so they rescheduled to Isa Blanca. The day we had no wind anywhere, they gave me the option to join them in a cable park. Couldn't ask for more. Thank you so much guys!! Hope to kite with you somewhere sometime again!!

Great location, equipment and teacher. I rented and my son had a supervised rental but Weeny went above and beyond and taught both of us some new skills. Tip: best at mid to high tide.

PROS:
Perfect spot to learn and practice.
Water is waist deep for many miles.
Sandy bottom in most areas.
Staff assembled by Foka is incredibly capable in their communication skill and ability to train a student and mostly patient. Ask me how I know :)
Jet skis for training and water rescue.
Lots of gear and a willingness to help with assembly and launching of kites.
Quiet location -.definitely off the beaten tract.
Maria's home cooked meals are second to none - try the fish tacos!
Cons: The road to Ikurus kite camp can be a bit rough and potholed. But, it's only the last two miles that can be tough.

So far the best place for kitesurfing I ever been. Friendly environment, testy food in the restaurant, and confortable accommodation. Awesome wind conditions in shallow waters perfect for beginners and for practicing tricks. The School has very good kite gear, wave runneretc.

I'm very pleased with Ikarus communication (fast response to my web request, pleasant and positive attitude). I wish they were closer to Cancun hotel zone or offer reasonable transportation to Isla Blanca from hotels.
I cannot comment on anything else except communication because I haven't been to their school or kite spot because of weather :(response / report this review -
