Our dive master Andreas was awesome. What a great experience for my husband and me. Andreas likes to uncover the hidden animals so we were able to see quite a bit of sea life. The staff at Mantas was professional, very nice. Highly recommend Manta!!

Wonderful choice on our part! We booked a 2 tank dive using credit card points (Chase). $35 for SCUBA rental gear. They took 3 groups out together on a large boat. My group had 7, including our instructor, Annie. Turns out, the dive was too advanced for me (haven't dove in 1.5 years, which was my basic certification). I got scared and didn't dive, but my husband did. He had the best time!! The dives were very advance, which for him was a bit scary, but he managed (basic certification about a month before). They drive at the arch WITH sealions!!! Annie was great and made sure the group was safe and was having a good time. I wish I made different decision and took their refresher course, but that's on me. Overall, amazing experience here! Make sure you are personally refreshed on diving and ate ready for an advance dive. Don't be like me and assume that it's like a bike and you will remember everything. Brush up on your skills BEFORE your dive.

First please read it’s for your safety!!! have dove many times in other places in Mexico and the Caribbean with many other dive shops, even in Cabo San Lucas. I decided to get my Padi Certification through Manta because of the reviews on their website. Don’t ever go by the reviews and ratings because it was the worst experience I ever had. I think my instructor was jealous on how much knowledge and experience I had because in a short time I aced my book work and when we got to the open water I was excellent, so he failed me and didn’t give me credit for the operations I already passed. He yelled at me constantly for no reason and took me on purpose for my open water swim that you do with nothing. No mask or fins where the current was the worst to do by myself, WHICH HE IS SUPPOSED TO DO WITH ME, but no he stayed on the boat talking to a girl making date plans and I’m very far away with bad currents, lots of boats and other people around me, which 1 BOAT ACTUALLY HIT ME IN MY HEAD AND BACK. I could go on, but please for your safety, do not dive with MANTA!! Of course the owner is sucking up for his instructor and LIED because THERE WAS NEVER 2 PEOPLE IN THE WATER EVER!!! My last dive there was only captain and Instructor, which neither of them in the water!!! THEY ARE UNDER PADI INVESTIGATION NOW DUE TO MY EXPERIENCE!!! PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH.

Had a wonderful dive with them in Cabo San Lucas. They took me to two locations for my Dives and both are beautiful. I saw so many fish and sharks and octopus and Starfish, I was overwhelmed. I highly recommend them for future dive trips.

The service and instruction was very professional. My wife and I were first time scuba divers and we did the explore scuba class that didn't require certification, but still allowed for an underwater experience. Paco was our instructor and did an excellent job, and had a funny personality. He went beyond his duties when we asked him to take our picture, jumping into full photographer mode! I'd highly recommend them to any beginner trying to go scuba diving.

First I want to say what a Super Team there is at Manta SCUBA Diving in Cabo San Lucus. Becky is awesome. we corresponded many times via email before I arrived (March 25-Apr 1st 2017) to Cabo to help me with questions. KiKi (Manager/Owner) was very helpful with explaining what dives trips are available and help with my needs as well in the shop. Now for the fun stuff, I selected Manta to do my PADI open water course and was I glad I did.
Brendon was my instructed and let me say he was just the best. I had him for one-on-one training and he was thorough, professional and extremely knowledgeable on all my needs. He made me comfortable and was just the best I could have asked for as an instructor.
Jesus', Alex and the rest of the team were friendly and helpful as well. Little Corina is not only a cutie and super dive master on the boat (which they have 3 of them) has quite the sense of humor.
I would highly recommend Manta Dive shop for dives as well as getting PADI open water certified (in four days). I am confident others have had the same impression of the dive shop and the Team. Great Job guys!!

Manta is a very professional dive shop. The dive masters are all very friendly and helpful. All six dives I did with Manta were rewarding experiences with plenty of wildlife. Their boats and amenities are way above average for the area. One of the few dive shops I've used that will dress your tank while your relax between dives. The staff is environmentally conscious and are willing to be critical of the harmful practices of other tourist operations in the area.

This was my first time diving in warm water (Local 2 Tank at Pelican Point and Land's End) and Manta made it a wonderful first experience! Ginger was very friendly and well organized, briefing us with details prior to each dive; especially as it was 6 of us and 1 of her. She located sand rays and lobsters and pointed them out to us with a pointer or flashlight. The captain of the boat assisted with boarding on and off and with our equipment. I saw lots of sea lions and schools of different fishes and would go back again for other dives.

Wanted to scuba in Cabo. Looked at the websites of all of the dive shops. I was impressed with Manta site and videos. The people were professional and courtesy to or needs. The dive guide knew the sites and how to get the most of our dives. Luis (dive guide)& Capt. Sumo were awesome and so is the rest of the staff. We did 5 dives and will go backbeginners and advance divers will enjoy. Rent wet suit if you are going in summer months..water can be a bit chilling at the deeper depths. Enjoy!!!!

I'm not a diver, so I did "Discover Scuba Diving". Marc was my guide. He is patient, safe, and knowledgeable. The short training is clear and very helpful.
Once in the water, we saw dozens of types of fish, including a school of devil rays. Couldn't ask for more, this was a spectacular morning.response / report this review
