My sister and I booked this hotel, thinking it was a nice and friendly place, we stayed for two because we had the worst experience, the first night the room looked clean at first site but when we took our shoes off the floors were all dusty and dirtiest, next day I asked the cleaning lady and complaint at the front desk, we went out for the day and we came back, the room was a little better, but for our surprise we found a man tie, call the front desk and the lady told, I don’t know how happen, maybe the cleaning lady forgot it, I said I don’t understand how a tie has to be in my room since the cleaners don’t have uniformes wearing ties, next day we were out of The Ritz Hotel, they acted like didn’t care about the manner
The room wasn’t clean at all and the beds had a lots of other people’s hair, I did complain about that but the same answer when I asked for toilet paper I’ll send somebody right now and that someone never show up I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL

Hotel Ritz is a surprise. We needed a last minute hotel in Mexico City and were feeling quite lucky to get this affordable hotel reservation, despite the less than excellent reviews. However, this hotel delivers. The rooms are quiet, clean, huge by Mexican hotel standards, with wifi and cable. The beds are comfortable. It’s clear they are doing some renovations and I do not expect this hotel will remain in our price range for long. Excellent location, terrific staff, many of them bilingual, good breakfast buffet (though we only looked and did not partake), Hotel Ritz is an excellent affordable hotel a few steps from the Zocolo one direction and the Bellas Artes Museo in the other. Metro is conveniently nearby as well.

Good clean hotel located in the heart of historic area in the city, and, pokemon gym near by. Good inexpensive restaurants are found everywhere near by.

Great location right in the center of shopping, museums, club and eats. The staff was friendly and very helpful, specially Edgar. They have a restaurant with great food. The rooms have just been remodeled and are good size and very clean. Only downside is there is no heater or AC but it was not a major issue in mid January. Would definitely stay there again.

In downtown Mexico City a few minutes walk from the Zocolo. My impression is that this Hotel was once very fancy and has declined with time. The rooms are small, but what you would expect for the location. Many of the staff had quite good English and I thought them very helpful.

DOV:16-18June2014 Excellent Hotel at the core centre of the city. Located at the 'walking street' where people gather after major events and all the major monuments are at walking distance from here. Rooms are quiet good and restaurant is nice. Recommended if you are a tourist!!

It is an excellent choice to stay for a business trip in downtown! It is well located an has many facilities nearby, the room is clean and seems to be almost new, the service is really good.
