The location and arquitecture of the hotel alone is worth the price. Service is great, and i was surprised to find that the rooms have both AC and Heating.

At Hotel La Purificadora i visited a friend and have some.good time drinking at the bar. I have not had the opportunity to stay at the hotel, but the time i spend at the restaurant was incredible, the people that was working there were really nice, the entire crew was incredible, and the place is really beautiful. I hope to be there again soon and to have some rest at the hotel.

The hotel has a nice architecture and decoratio. However the acoustic is terrible!!! If there is a party in the bar or restaurant, you will hear it in your room! I had to call reception 5 times to complain about the noise until the party finished at 2AM. Also towels in the room were old and even teared appart. The pool was also broken and not working. Finally, if you go during winter you will suffer a lot with the cold weather since the common spaces of the hotel are open. Avoid La Purificadora for staying the night, maybe just go to grab a drink to see it.

Worst hotel in my life! Over 100 decibels of noise till 3am from convention center next door. Permanent hearing damage range. Please save yourself. Regardless of pro forma note warning you of noise. Lawyers are happy. Damn the guest.

Beautifully designed. Practicality was not a main concern for the architect. Looks were. Fine with me. Great and central location yet quiet. Really good food, friendly but exceptionally slow service in restaurant even if empty. Rigid rules (lunch menus can be ordered from 1pm, not a minute earlier, you cannot pay your room at 7 am if you still have a packed suitcase in your room, it must be totally empty.etc, etc). For the price, just a continental breakfast and no breakfast buffet available during weekdays was unexpected, but, to be fair, it was clearly described on the website. So no real surprise but still stunning. Only hotel I have ever been in Mexico that quotes room prices in US-$. Would I go again? For short stays only.

The architecture and design is something to see and perhaps one of the main attractions here. The location is also ideal walking distance to many historic sights. I wasn't a fan of the use of glass in so much of the room but it is an interesting design.
