The best Mexican hotel we have ever stayed in! Also the best value.

Although the area is the industrial part of the city, the overbridge to cross the busy road to the Gallerias mall are literally outside the hotel lobby. It's only 5-6 minutes walk away. There were no OXXOs nearby so if you are looking for a shop turn left as you leave the hotel and left again at the first street you come to. There's a small tienda not far away. The hotel foyer has vending machines with drinks and snacks so bring some coins! We were warned not to walk at night because there were a lot of muggings and assaults in that part of the city.

Security at the hotel is excellent and staff were always vigilant.There was plenty of parking under the building in the car park and even that was monitored by staff regularly.

The breakfast that was included was excellent. It included juices, coffee, tea, toast, fruit and cereals, and hot food (eggs and a speciality dish). You just help yourself. The staff kept it very clean and well-stocked.

Our room was immaculate -- very clean, and smelled fresh, including the bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable, with clean, high quality bedding. We visited in winter and although mornings and evenings were cold, inside the hotel room it was warm enough to just wear a t-shirt without any heating on. The shower had great water pressure and temperature and the toilet flushed properly.

WIFI was excellent in our room. Full strength. They're using captive portal technology so if you use Linux it might take 5 minutes or more before the login page appears. Our Windows laptop and Android phones got the log-in screen instantly. We've never had such good internet in a hotel so we were very pleased because we had work to do online.

Finally, another first -- there were power sockets everywhere! Often you are lucky if a room has one! Here they were beside the bed, on the wall, and at the desk so you can comfortably have two laptops and two phones charging at the same time without needing a multiboard.

We found the staff to be very helpful but I wouldn't go so far as to call them "friendly". I had to stay 7 hours in the foyer after we checked out and they were happy for me to be there. Again, with plenty of power sockets to choose from and good WIFI strength.

Would we go back again? Absolutely.
