The staff is top notch. The adult pool is nicely heated. We went during low season, I can see how this place can get overcrowded. Try and stay off peak. Kids under ten will love it.

This is a two part review
Part 1- From Mon to Fri is an excellent getaway option, just 1hr from Mexico City
Part 2- Avoid in weekends, no really avoid it, so crowded, bad service, transforms from good to nasty

Very disappointed in my stay at this Marriott location. A Marriott Gold rewards member for many years, and have never seen such poor management and customer service at a Marriott property. AVOID!!! Much better service in town, near the shops, culture, restaurants and spas of Ixtapan de la Sal.
