Good place to visit away from the crowd. Needs a bit more "loving care" in order to draw more people.

We showed up yesterday at 4:45pm and they were closed. According to Google and the sign on the window they are open until 6:00pm. It was very disappointing.

The beach here is pretty small and we couldn't get a seat with an umbrella because they didn't have enough for the seats they had. The snorkeling is probably the best you'll get from shore, bit not nearly as good as from a boat. The drinks were decent and reasonably priced.

This place is very beautiful in a unique way. It not only has sand but it's also rocky. You may think that's not good, but it actually is because it's great for snorkeling the fish love it!

Use of beach was not too ecpensive (70 pesos each). Restautant was not bad. Snorkling was reasonablebut nothing special and lots of construction waste in the water.

Good snorkeling area with beautiful water for a good price--probably a great price if you have your own equipment. 70 pesos to get in; fins, mask, locker, etc. are all extra. The 4 of us spent around $25 US. There is limited seating, and the area was crowded when we went on a Saturday afternoon. There is a bar with nachos and the like. It's definitely worth the drive from Centro.

Wonderful ceviche (probably the best I have ever had), great drinks, we had a great time here. Ask for Roger Jr. and his brother Manuel for excellent service (they speak great English for those of us who do not speak the language). The beach and sea floor is rocky so I do recommend water shoes, especially for kids. The snorkeling was good, honestly it was a bit cloudy the day we went but that's bound to happen occasionally.

Great shore snorkeling. They have built a little cove with a small beach and have a great snorkeling area with sea grass, a rocky area that has schools of fish all the time. There is food you can order from the beach at a reasonable price. Entry was like $70 pesos and we enjoyed the snorkeling as much or more than we did with a more expensive tour to the reef as it allowed us to go at our own pace and come in for a rest and food and then get back out for more. You will need to rent a golf cart or a scooter to get there but that was fun too and you get away from the crowds at the busy North End. Entry fee included showers, bathrooms, chairs and umbrellas for shade. They rent goggles and life jackets as well for a reasonable fee.

A nice quiet spot, very cheap entrance and to rent snorkel etc. Make sure to bring lots of cash as they don't take card.

Good Snorkling small beach lots of chairs and shade. Can't bring own food. Has showers, changing rooms, lockers available for 20 pesos.

A more affordable option than Garrafon Natural Reef Park if you are looking to beach/snorkel on Isla Mujeres. It's only 50 pesos (about 3 USD) to access the beach. I brought my own snorkel gear, but renting their equipment is inexpensive as well. There are lots of fish and some corals in the water here, although the snorkeling is admittedly better next door at the more expensive park. Overall though, Garaffon De Castilla is a little piece of paradise. There are flowering trees, iguanas roaming the cliffs and the beach, and you can purchase drinks on the beach. We had a really fun time here.
