We had a great experience here. We had friends rent a car in Cancun a few months ago (not from here) and they had a really bad experience. That is what we wanted to avoid, and thankfully we did. The customer service was friendly and not pushy, the price was fair, and the car was great. They ask about getting other insurance, so make sure you know what you want going in (we opted for none other than the liability insurance that came with our booking), but they weren't pushy about it and were honest when I asked what was required.

Everybody speaks English and are very nice. It’s kind of expensive and play they make you wear a mask when you go inside to sign paperwork. Other than that, there’s really nothing else to complain about. I recommend making a reservation online before you get there so that you can guarantee that you get a car rental.

The car renting experience was very easy. I wouldn’t rent from anybody else.

If you have T-Mobile no need to get the Wi-Fi router because we get 5 GB in the country. Attached are a couple of photos of the car rental place since it seems like nobody is posting updated pictures of the location. Call rental company is located only two minutes away from the airport. And if you went from them, they have shuttles to take you to the car rental for free.

Great service. Comfortable car. We drove all over the Yucatan Peninsula with no problems. I had watched so many YouTube videos that nearly scared me away from rental cars from the airport. They were honest, the shuttle took us to the airport, it gave us the independence we desired in Mexico.

Worst experience ever!!! We booked our reservation online through enterprise for $281.00 USD, ended up spending almost $1000.00 USD. We had no choice but to add on an additional $300.00 USD worth of “liability” insurance. When we returned the car, we were told that the tire was damaged and we would have to pay an additional $230.00. USD!!!! There was absolutely nothing wrong with the tire. In addition to the slew of charges, we were laughed at by the employee helping us, making the situation even more stressful and frustrating. Javi and the manager Daniel were rude, dismissive and not willing to help in any way. BUYER BEWARE. Another couple had a similar issue when checking in, and we’re told they had to pay the $300 USD “liability insurance” for five days like us, they had to take the shuttle to another rental agency, which is exactly what we should have done, and you should do as well. Highly recommend you take your business elsewhere. This is a picture of our “damaged” tire.

I was very worried about renting from them after reading the reviews. So worried that I called their help desk twice from Europe just to confirm they will have our car ready. Made another reservation with a different company just in case. But I must say I was extremely satisfied with the service. Completely new car, standard SUV size, price as advertised no hassle when returning. No waiting at pick up or return. I think the difference is if you make a reservation directly through them and what kind of insurance you take. Not to say they should not provide a great service if you don`t take the full insurance, which we did. In my experience, if you want a great service and are willing to pay for it you can get it here.

I’m surprised to see this company has so many good reviews. This is one of the reasons we decided to go with them. I suppose if they actually honored our reservation and gave us a car, we may be writing a different review. However, when we got there, they did not have any cars available. They gave us some excuse and said because we weren’t “emerald members,” they couldn’t honor the reservation. Turns out they just routinely oversell cars to make more money. If someone arrives who has no reservation but is willing to pay more money, they will give the car away. We had several other people on our flight who had a reservation with them who never received a car either. Contacted enterprise company directly and never heard back. This company is a joke. I wouldn’t waste your time or money with them. Such a scam.

Excellent experience with this car rental. Like other travelers, it was a smooth transaction from begining to end. They were very helpful and no pressure from them. Yes, you must get third party liability it explains on the website or you can ask them when you pick up the car. But the car was smooth, no issues and definitely a positive experience. They also offer free shuttle to the agency and your terminal. 5 stars!

I rented a car through enterprise Cancún airport from December 15-20. The service was amazing. You must buy the third party liability insurance BEFORE you arrive and on any rental car. It’s worth it also since drivers in Mexico drive a lot differently than in the USA. But as soon as we landed we were taken in a shuttle to the national (partner affiliate) car place and got our car. They will ask if you want more insurance but if you book and have proof from your travel card that you have additional collision insurance they won’t ask you ab additional insurance. We actually got a nicer car than we paid for. It was around $150 for 6 days which was nice. They also put a $500 deposit on my card while we had the car BUT if you return the car with no damage they’ll release it. Which they did for me. You’ll see ads for renting a car for a week for $50 some things are too good to be true. If I return to Mexico and rent a car it will be through this business.

The staff here are nice and everything moves pretty quickly. I give them 1 star because of how they bait and switch with price. I booked online for $1 USD a day for 15 days and I show up and they want to charge me $15 extra a day (so $1 a day suddenly becomes $16 a day) and for insurance they wanted to put a hold of $915.13 on my card 🤔. I understand they have requirements but they should be upfront during the booking process and disclose all associated cost and fees to be paid before you book.

I rented a car from this office, twice, for a total of five weeks in July and August 2020. The service was great and the prices were very good. I would in particular like to note Senor Cesar for his 24/7 availability and excellent and timely help with all my needs. I frequently rent cars as I travel a lot, but I have never experienced such great responsiveness and customer support as that provided by Cesar throughout those five week, even at Enterprise. It deserves a score of a perfect 5.

Very happy. Rental was easy and painless. It was a similar experience to renting in the US. Looked through other reviews from different vendors around the area. We chose Enterprise based on reviews. We had a VW Jetta which was able to fit all 5 adults in, with luggage. We were picked up from the airport and driven to the facility (about 2 miles away from the airport). We took all additional insurance out (didn't need, but didn't hurt to have since we didn't know what we were getting into). The representative was very helpful getting us started, he gave us some advice about how to fill up with gas (count money out and wait for gas pump to zero), what to expect on the roads etc On return, we filmed the car as proof of condition. We were then driven to the airport with no wait time at all. Overall, I'd recommend. We had no issues whatsoever. We paid just over $500 for 1 week for 5 people.

No hassles like I read about in reviews at other rental places at the Cancun airport. Just take pictures of your car when you pick it up, and be sure to bring it back with a half tank of gas. The shuttle from the airport took about 15 minutes to get there, and not everybody could get on, but the people who missed the shuttle I was on only got there 5 minutes after I did. Prices were reasonable even with the $20 a day liability insurance which is required.

Excellent! But understand the insurance requirements.

I read all the horror story reviews of car rental companies in Cancun, as you probably have too? And noticed Enterprise were the only company getting the thumbs up.

They did not disappoint. Everything was as it should be, would not hesitate to use them again. I booked online and when I returned the car I was charged exactly what I was expecting. No pressure selling.

But note. Reading other reviews I think there is some confusion over insurance.

It is mandatory in Mexico to have third party liability insurance. But importantly, this has to be purchased from the rental company you are using!

So if you think you already have this cover. As part of your travel insurance, or maybe credit card package.think again. You will have to buy it again, from whichever rental company you use. It's no good complaining, they are just complying with the the law. And you will have to as well, or you won't be renting a car!

My family and friends were very concerned with renting a car in Cancun. After reading reviews everywhere Enterprise was the one company that has more positive reviews and less so no comments about shady behavior. So we decided to use Enterprise.

This location was very helpful and didn't charge any extras that we didn't want. In fact, our luggage didn't fit and they upgraded us for a minimal price per day.

Turning the car back in was simple and easy, they inspected the car and returned my deposit. I will travel to Cancun again and use their service! Good job team!

All good. Almost like renting in the US. We did have to wait like 10 minutes at the airport and had to ask the local workers where is shuttle pickup location is (cuz it is not marked in any way), but the van came soon and was very clean and driver professional. The car we got was just the one we ordered, was very clean and fairly new, 40k kilometers. We did have to pay 20 bucks per day for mandatory minimal insurance, so be aware and budget for it. Otherwise the experience was nice and simple

I been renting cars throughout Mexico for years, and yes, you will get scammed by many car rental companies. You just have go with the company that has previously gave you a honest good service. Enterprise has done that for me at several locations in Mexico. In this particular location, I did not wait more than 5 minutes at the terminal before being pick up. Maybe just coincidence or maybe they are on top of things? It is a few minutes ride to the location, but once you there everyone is very helpful and friendly. Went over the contract, the associate, very professional, clearly explained the details and I was given a very fair price. In just a few minutes, we, wife a two kids, were on our way to enjoy our vacation in a nice clean car!

I do want to mentioned that days before arriving , I received several emails from Brand manager, Mr. Torres, providing information to facilitate pick up and inquiring flight information. I think this was the reason why I only waited 5 minutes at the terminal. Regardless, I highly recommend this pl;ace.

The check in process was really slow for some reason. It didn't seem like the person knew exactly what he was doing. We rented the cheapest car you could. Even though the online prices appears to be $8/day the third party insurance takes the price up to $100+ depending on how long you rent it for. Make sure you do a thorough inspection of the car. There were dents, dings, and damage all over. It seemed like they wanted me to see if I could catch what was wrong with the car without directly pointing anything out. The car got us to and fro. We returned the car and the person took pictures of previously existing damage like they wanted to charge us for it until they noticed it was already damaged. Overall not the best car renting experience I've had but if you are an experienced renter you won't have any problems.

Excellent experience with honesty! They gave me no pressure to upsell.
Hard to find in car rental agencies period (got scammed in Charlotte Virginia by budget) but especially in Mexico!! They warned me about corrupt cops stopping rental cars and told me to be wary what happens? a cop pulls me over for speeding at 90KM/hr in a 60 zone I told the cop many people warned me about corrupt cops and I was disappointed to have met one and he let me go with a warning. They warned me about gas station attendants trying to cheat by starting to fill before meter goes to zero so you have to get out of the car and tell them to start pumping when it hits zero they also tried to scam me by giving me incorrect change. Look out for that too. I'd give this agency a 10/10. Absolutely a great experience with great advice!!!!!

Excellent, courteous, professional service. I was wary of renting a car in Cancun, but I am an Enterpise member, so I would have confidence i the brand. I am glad I did; we got to see so much more of the region on our own schedule, and a week rental was only $128 USD. The shuttle driver was already waiting for us outside the airport based on our flight number. Highly recommended.

We rented a VW Jetta from Enterprise at their Cancun Airport location. The car was in good condition and more importantly the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were picked up promptly from the airport and driven in a clean van to the rental car location. It took maybe 10 minutes to complete all the paperwork and be on our way to Tulum. On the return, the staff was very efficient and the checkout process took approximately 10 minutes before we were on our way to the airport. After reading all of the negative reviews for the various rental car companies in the area, we were extremely happy with our experience with Enterprise and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to rent a car in Cancun.
