We booked online to do the Outdoor Adventure by Cancun Adventures and it was amazing. Jacob was so funny and did the tour along with his amazing staff. From the pick up to the activities to the very end we had so much fun! Would highly recommend to anyone that wants to do some great outdoor stuff !

My husband and I did the Tulum and snorkel with marine turtles at Akumal tour on March 14. It was AMAZING! Our guide Angel was so knowledgeable and passionate about the ruins and the Mayan culture. Jesus our driver was wonderful as well. I was very nervous about snorkeling but Lupita from the dive shop in Akumal was so wonderful at calming me down and making sure I felt safe. The restaurant they took us to afterwards was delicious, it was one of the best meals of our trip. We would definitely recommend this tour.

This is the 2nd time we have taken a catamaran to Isle Mujeres. Both times have been incredible from the boat ride to having time to hang out on the island. Shelly was our tour guide the second trip, she was very knowledgeable and made the adventure very fun.

I would like to give a huge shout out to our guide, Armando G! He was phenomenal. First, he made a point to learn all of our names. We did the Tulum Yal-ku Plus tour with my grandmother who is in a wheelchair. Initially our booking representative said we couldn't bring her, but he went out of his way to make sure she was able to go and pushed her around all the sites! My grandmother is a bigger lady so this isn't easy. He was also extremely knowledgeable of the sites and wanted us to actually learn something which was great. Also while we were snorkeling, he went out of his way to swim with a few others who weren't that confident in swimming to make sure they felt safe. As well, he even collected some leaves to make a Mayan tea to help my diabetic grandmother! He was very organized, thoughtful, articulated, helpful, knowledgeable and outgoing! By far the best tour guide I've ever had, and I've done a lot of tours. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would! He definitely deserves the recognition.

We did the catamaran tour for a destination wedding and it was a lot of fun. The staff of the boat were very helpful and friendly and did a great job. The only thing I didn’t really enjoy was the lunch they provided. A friend of mine on the boat asked for a lunch free of shellfish because of an allergy and she was served the same lunch as everyone else. When she brought it up the staff explained to pick off he shrimp and it would be fine. I think the staff need to have a better understanding of allergies. Otherwise great experience.

My boyfriend and I did the Snorkeling Adventure tour. It was incredible with great views. This tour is a great option for beginners, or for those not quite comfortable with marine life. We were able to see a school of about 200 fish! The weather was a bit rough but they did their best to make our time enjoyable. Plus, the included lunch was by far the best food I had the whole trip. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

If you want an awful your to Chichenn Itza featuring inedible slop and a Cenote that resembles a sewer.. these are your guys! To top it off their customer service is non existent!

Mala experiencia en el tour de los tiburón-ballena. La recogida muy bien, muy puntuales pero el punto de salida y regreso muy malo. Es una especie de urbanización que utilizan como lanzadera de las embarcaciones, imaginaos que en la piscina de vuestra casa empiezan a llegar gente extraña que viene a subirse a barcos En fin un desastre. No hay donde cambiarse, no te aseguran que puedas tener neopreno si no lo has contratado (por 250$ por cabeza no lo deberían ni insinuar) y una vez en el mar tienes un camino de más de una hora en barca (bastante divertido porque vas literalmente brincando sobre las olas) que cuando contratas la excursión no te comentan (aunque sí cuando subes a la furgoneta). En esta excursión ves a los peces acompañados de un guía en el agua y por parejas, pero cuando llegas al punto de encuentro, en otras excursiones todos están en el agua. Los peces se comportan como son, animales que están tranquilamente comiendo y no están para que nosotros los miremos como si fuera un circo. Así que hay que tener mucha suerte para verlos, aunque el capitán, el marinero y el guía ponen todo su empeño para encontrar el momento más idóneo para tirarse al agua. Después de vuelta otra hora hasta playa de las mujeres donde comemos en un sitio en la playa (un plato y dos bebidas), y de vuelta al esperpentico lugar de salida/llegada. Como experiencia y por lo que cuesta (250$ por cabeza) no la recomiendo en absoluto.

Had an AMAZING experience with this group - We were a bit smaller than usual but it made the whole experience even better. We went to the Tulum and Cave Adventure Private Tour - Our guide Alex was phenomenal with the amount of history that he knew, and was able to answer any and all questions. Swimming through the Cave was one of the most unforgettable experiences I'll treasure - Thank you SO much for the amazing experience!

We had a terrible experience with the company. They are very deceiving in the way they practice their business. I'm writing this review as a warning to others. Please do not book your trip with Cancun Adventures / Nexus Tours.
We purchased the afternoon half day snorkeling and sailing excursion through Nexus tours. On the day of the excursion the weather was sunny and clear, however, there was a strong wind and the water was windy. We arrived at the dock as the morning trip arrived. People came off the boat somewhat angry. We found out that Cancun Adventures took the morning excursion for a short ride on the water and then parked the catamaran in the harbor until time ran out.
Before heading out for the afternoon trip we asked the crew about the morning excursion and if we would be stuck in the harbor as well. The crew didn't respond regarding the morning trip and said they would give an update after leaving the dock. They also did not indicate the trip would change in any way. They did not give us an option to cancel or reschedule the trip.
We went out for the afternoon trip only to have the exact same experience as the morning trip. We went for a short ride outside the harbor and then parked the boat in the harbor the large majority of the trip. While we were in the harbor the crew walked around the boat requiring each person to sign a waiver agreeing to the changes in the trip. We told the crew we didn't agree and asked to be compensated for the changed trip only to be treated disrespectfully.response / report this review
