You'll dive in a safe, professional, family-like environement where the people are incredibly passionate about what they do and are motivated to share their love for diving with others. For us, it was like diving with some new friends and on top of that, enjoying the best diving places of Yucatan! 😊😊😊
As backpackers for months now, we used to dive in many places. Dive Life was the best price quality we have found in Playa, everything was professional and easy.
Franck took good care of us, and all we had to do is to enjoy the amazing dives on Cozumel reefs!
We have found back the taste of the last dive we did in Thaïlande - Similan Island
Paloma and Oscar were awesome, nothing to compare with these PADI center factories, it was also awesome to share some beers together after our dive!

Dive life is truly fantastic!!!!!
Normally I do not take the time to write comments, but this dive shop offered me an exceptionnel experience and so I decided to write here to thank them. I loved the way they informed us from the very begining. They could see, that I was very stressed about diving and also we have found the prices to dive in Cozumel very pricey. So they explained everything preciesly and did not insist that me and my husband go diving with them. On the other hand, they suggested us to think it through and check possibilities and other dive shops also. After a bit of research we came back, because we fast understood that here we had the best deal with caring people. We were glad to be received here as people who count and not as waillets.
We choose a date according to the weather together with them. On the morning of the big day they received us with coffees and everything prepared. Franck took all his time to explain pricesly what was going to happen and helped us with everything and Paloma’s entoushiasm and happy way of being made me feel much more confortable and less stressed. She speaks perfectly french, which is great since my husband is french. Everything was professional but in a friendly and caring athmosphere. Everything went perfectly, the transport by car to the port, the boat trip and the preparations on the see.
We dived with Andyand he is amazing! He literally spends every day on the see since he is also the captain of the boat we took. He explained again everything and took his time to answer my thousand questions. He knew that I had some problems with my ear took special attention to that. In fact he made me feel amazingly confortable under the sea he was checking on everybody and stayed calm and professional. I did one dive in the red sea and tought I would never see so many coulours again. We even saw a shark from far, some rays and many other amazing animals I do not even know the name of.
Me and my husband had the best day of our honeymoon thanks to Dive Life. Thanks guys so much for supporting me and for taking such a good care of us!!!!!!response / report this review -

The Team at Dive Life do an awesome job. If you want the personal with small group dynamics they are the way to go. You can dive with the big shop, lots of people or you can go with Dive Life and get the touch of perfection.

I live in Playa del Carmen and have been on many amazing dives with Dive Life, both in PDC and Cozumel. It is our favorite shop in the area. All the dives are within a small group and they really work with you on locations and specific sites. We've dove with Francisco, Victor, Soren and Barbara, all of which are great people, very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. They offer the full scale of PADI instruction as well as many different dives in Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, various cenotes, and Isla Mujeres.

I came to get my advanced open water and was treated to a very personal, very professional trip. We visited some of the best Cenotes in the area (as a plan B, the harbor was closed!) and I can honestly say it was one of the coolest things I have ever done. Fran and Søren are very friendly and have so much knowledge about diving and the local environment. The first two dives it was only 4 of us. Last dive was just me and instructor. The best way to learn. Highly recommended.

DiveLife in Playa has to be the best dive shop in the Mayan Riviera. They took me in on short notice when another dive shop cancelled my reservation (bad ocean conditions) and instead took me to a cenote (local limestone sink-hole – a one-of-a-kind experience) for my referral dives 1 and 2 – in the dive master’s wife’s car, for one-on-one instruction. For dives 3 and 4, another dive master took me on a boat dive the next day, even though he was supposed to join another group in Cozumel – again, one-on-one instruction. One of only a few 5-star dive shops in town, these guys price themselves to be ultra-competitive. There’s no red carpet here, just a group of well-traveled dive enthusiasts who will stop at nothing to make sure you love their passion too. If you don’t want a free latte, but you do want an exceptional dive experience with uber qualified, passionate professionals, look no further than DiveLife. 6 Stars.
