Woodlands Lilongwe has a big stretch of land consisting of an events garden (ideal for weddings), a campsite and 10 executive chalets. Each chalet is nicely secluded with a big private view.
Woodlands is situated on about 9 hectares of land.
Right by the Lingadzi river, there is a range of small wildlife around. Bush buck, bush pig, baboons, vervet monkeys and deer. If you're lucky you get to see the crocodiles in the river, no swimming there!
On top of that there's a quality restaurant serving continental food as well as a specialized Indian menu. Two Indian chefs make their favorite dishes with a lot of love (and spices).
With regards to price vs. quality, there's no hotel or lodge in Lilongwe topping this.
An oasis of quietness and nature, but still conveniently located right in town, Woodlands has a lot to offer for both business stay as well as tourism.
