I stayed 2 month at the Bridgeview Hotel in Lilongwe - Malawi. The Hotel is located very central, right opposite of the Game Complex (Shopping Center). The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are old and the mattresses are worn out. The bar fridge in the room never worked, even after 2 x of exchanging. The tv is having only 6 channels which are mostly not working in anyway. I experienced power outages almost each and every day and if there are not many guests at the hotel, the management won't even switch over to generator power. Meaning no aircon is working and then it's getting quite hot inside the room. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast and the restaurant food (95 % indian cuisine) is average and not too expensive. The Hotel doesn't have a bar and no alcohol is available. The management is strictly Muslim.

A family run hotel where the staff are very helpful and will sort out any issues very quickly. They serve a good range of indian food which is of a high standard.
