Hotel is situated at nice location. However rooms are not worth of USD 188 which they are charging for hill side view. Also restaurant facilities are not par. They do not clean the table, table cloths are dirty, you have to ask them to clean the tables, you have to ask for fork/spoon, you have to ask for serviettes, serving is very very slow. Bad experience I faced ever at any restaurant in malawi. You can see in the pic what we got after 1.5hr of our ordering.

Excellent place with a lot of activities. Good tourist attraction place. Good services and environment. Very beautiful place for wedding reception.

Great place, wonderful scenery but it can get a bit cool since its on top of the mountain. They have nice food and wonderful customer service. Its a good place to just sit down and relax with a nice book or go with friends and family for a good meal.

Its a place friendly for the whole family. Its got a nice bar, restaurant and good accommodation. Its cool breeze from Mount Zomba makes it friendly. A wide scenery of monkeys (which comes at random times) and the beautiful sunset makes it a place to be.

My favourite Sunbird hotel. Amazing views of the beautiful gardens and sunsets. Plenty of hikes on the plateau. Rooms are very comfortable and good menu in the restaurant, Room service available.

Resting on the top of the hill it offers a cool resting spot when the valley is warm, a fab sunset and a lush surrounding incl wildlife outside your door. Great and friendly service.

Escape! Great service, good food, comfort at the top of a mountain! Access is a 20 minute drive but worth the effort. This means nearest entertainment and shopping is also 20 minutes away. Great for conferences/workshops.

A very nice place. Giving three stars is because I can not contemplate why it has to be that expensive. The room tariff when I enquired was over £100 a night for a room for 2 people. Food also is expensive.

Stayed for 8 days as part of 35+ international workshop with work (University of Exeter). The Kuchawe is located on the Zomba plateau, truly spectacular location and away from the intense heat .The 60% government-owned hotel doesn't always deliver the very best service, but the rooms, dining, meeting facilities and entertainment were all excellent.
