I was surprised to see my spacious room that could be considered as a junior suite! My colleagues and I had some Western pub food at the bar, and Mongolian beer. Breakfast was ok for me, probably meat lovers would be very pleased. Catered sushi there and my clients were happy. Overall it was a very nice experience staying at this hotel.

The best hotel that I have stayed in South East Asia and Africa. Large, clean room with all the required and sophisticated amenities in the room. Very well trained and friendly staff. Delicious foods with different cuisines as per the choice. A great experience. Undoubtedly, I will not think of another place for my next trip.

Probably the best hotel in Ulaanbataar. If not in Asia.
Great service great food and prices.
Location is also good because you can turn one way and get out of the city.

The service, food and environment here are great. Phil, Cem, Bilegt, Amra, Eegii and Anu all provided impressive, welcoming hospitality. I will return and recommend others to visit the Kempinski because of them.

Excellent hotel and staff. The best breakfast in Ulaanbator. Spacious and very clean rooms. I would like to underline the kindness and professional attitude of Miss. Zuaala of the reception.

High quality service what everything you can expect a higher end hotel to have. A bank is about 1 min away from the hotel, so it makes currency exchange easier ( the front desk also provide currency exchange service). Staff speak English well.

Part of the building was under renovation. The staff I interacted with understood English. The food was great and there was a wide selection of drinks to choose from. Ideal for small groups, or just chilling with that special someone.

Pros:
- super friendly and welcoming staff. Every request I had was handled with a respect and eagerness to help.
- very comfy beds and linen. I was falling asleep the moment my head was touching a pillow. Doesn’t happen in every hotel.
- excellent Japanese teppanyaki restaurant. Amazing food, great and entertaining chef

Cons:
- almost no sound-proof in the connected rooms (i had to ask to move me to another, room since i heard every single sound from my neighbors)
- wi-fi quality is very bad. I’m a business traveler and it’s super important to have proper internet connection. In my two rooms, I was checking the quality of the signal in different corners of the room and when you find the spot, it brakes time to time.
- airport shuttle service. They use a city taxi service for that, and this is not what you expect from Kempinski transfer – cars are old and its smells inside, drivers do not respect any rules (mine has been driving on a red light, not turning signals at all). I’m ready to pay extra to get some decent service.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights and the hotel staffs served me as like their very special & important guest. The hotel atmosphere was generally very warm, friendly. Staffs were very helpful on everything I needed. Thank you guys for your help.
The hotel itself was very clean, convenient. Very nice place to offer our friends.
