Great location. Close to everything i.e. food, pagodas. Staff friendly. Safe, have left valuables out and no issue. Has a pool! Highly recommend

Facility should be improved. No wet/dry area in shower room. The shower room is too small. Safe box should be provided. Most staffs are nice.

We stayed for three nights while exploring Bagan.
Room was nice and comfy, staff very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed the roof-top breakfast, too. The hotel has a nice bar/restaurant close to the pool. They also offered a luxurious and tasty western-oriented Valentine's day special for a good price. Sadly, the smell around the pool area was a little off-putting at times.

The location is great, very close to one of the bigger pagodas and the restaurant strip (but also very touristy). We'd recommend the hot air balloon flight (book in advance), as well as arranging a guide+car with AC for a relaxed tour of Bagan (we did this through Ever Sky across the road).

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, superb English spoken. They also helped us to arrange for airport transfers, tours and gave great recommendations when we asked for places to go!

Professional management hotel in Bagan. We stayed in the big room; it was clean, simple decorating but modern. What I love the most is the breakfast here. There were varieties of foods, freshly prepared.

We really liked this hotel, it is very simple but it had everything we wanted, clean, comfortable beds with white clean sheets, AC and no mosquitoes in the room. Good breakfast in the terrace, if you think you won't be able to make it in case you are doing the early morning balloon ride, let them know, as they can prepare something for you to eat when you are back. It is 1 block away from the main street that has lots of restaurants. We were able to check in at 9am, they have wifi but it is very slow, there are 2 shops that rent e-bikes across the street from it, one of them opens very early in case you want to go out to see the sunrise.

A good standard hotel in what is probably the backpacker area of Bagan. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfasts at the outdoor area on the top floor are a nice touch in the cool mornings of the dry season. The staff are friendly and efficient and helped arrange onward flights.

Clean hotel. Good ambience and friendly staff. Room facilities can be improved. Would have loved a chair in the room and a safe locker. Restaurant was decent with helpful staff. Close to Restaurant Street which offers a variety of cuisine . Scooters available in front of the hotel.

Quirky, clean and great location. Reception staff very friendly and helpful especially when Malaysia Airlines lost our baggage the staff really helped liaise with the airline to get our bags back. I would definitely recommend this place to stay in Bagan

Beautiful boutique hotel with a lovely pool to cool off the Bagan heat.
The staff was very friendly and they offer one free ebike per room although renting a scooter is way more fun!

    Amazing stay at the Zfreeti.

The breakfast was extremely good and had loads of options. It was certainly the best free breakfast we've had in 6 months of travelling. (For the Brits they have Baked Beans and HP sauce! 😉)

Staff are very friendly and helpful. You can rent an e-scooter from reception to navigate the area easily. They are also informative when booking a bus for onward travel.

For the price, it's excellent value and a lovely place to stay.

They do not know what customers service is. If request anything extra, they would not accommodate you because it's against their policy. Don't forget to bring plenty of crispy dollar bills since they don't accept credit cards and reject any wrinkled dollars. Despite of these warnings, if you want to stay at this place, do not reserve a room in advance. You could get a discount as a walk in.

Great amenities at this place. Great pool to cool down at in the middle of the day in particular. Big breakfast. Very clean rooms. Food and cocktails good bit in $s so that makes them more expensive. Helpful staff, easy to rent e-bikes. Gets swamped with bus tour groups a bit though

Not fancy, but convenient location to all temples. There's also a nice lady who owns a convenience store across from the hotel who rents e-bikes for a fair price. The rooms are clean and there's a refrigerator.

We booked room 311, 312, and 315. The rooms smelled like sewage because they were using sewage water to water the plants right outside the room. 315 was particularly bad as the smell lingered pretty much all night and the next morning.

As if that wasn't enough, the hair dryer literally caught on fire while it was being used!

The bathroom's design was puzzling. There is no way to take shower without flooding the bathroom.

    Do not recommend.

We booked it because of the high ratings on trip advisor but it was quite disappointing. Starting out - they take a 50 dollar cash deposit and don't have any debit credit machines. The room size is fine but taking a shower caused the entire bathroom to fill with water. The WiFi doesn't work in the rooms, and barely in the lobby. The stairways to the rooms smell like sewage. There is no safe in the room and no kettle or tea. The laundry service is more expensive than across the street and comes back smelling like moth balls. Lastly, the room service doesn't stock toiletries . Overall, there are much better hotels in the area for cheaper.
