Renovated or new clean small rooms. 5 min walk from jetty and immigration. But really not cheap, 30,000 Kyats for double bed room with fan or 35,000 with air con. Including very basic breakfast, 3 in 1 coffee, one egg, two toast, jam and butter.

Clean and new rooms, basic setup with shower, aircon and tv, good location near the city center and not noisy. Offers cheap laundry and motorbike rental. Rate is about 30 usd per night including breakfast (egg toast and coffee).

4 stars by local standards (lower than Thailand). Clean, well located, easy to access the market and pagoda, in a tranquil neighbourhood, OK wifi, good breakfast if you like eggs, toasts and coffee.
Best thing in this place is the roof terrace. Again, lower your expectations. At the moment it's only a space used by the staff to dry clothes and doing extra works, but hopefully they will turn this into a nicer space for guests. The view is really good, and you can use it (or at least we got away with it). We've been doing yoga and watching the sunset from there.
This place was heaven after spending two nights at Kawthaung Hotel.
Don't order food from their take away service. It's terrible.response / report this review -

Clean and comfortable, not too far to walk to the market and up the temple, not to near the busy market from noisy envi.
the main gate is locked during the night, if you want to wake up and go out early in the morning, you need to tell someone at the reception the night before.response / report this review -
