A large park around a lake. If you want to walk and relax, come here.
It has a long wooden bridge around the park.
The Signature restaurant there also offer very good dimsum (before 2pm) and foods (whole day), let try!

One of the best parks in Yangon. Recommended for both family and friends and for every ages. You can find historical Karaweik boat in the lake.

Beautiful, quiet and so green! This public park is nice for relaxing throughout the day. Feeling like time went by so slow herenot quite sure why, but it was a good place to spend couple of hours just appreciating nature before walking to the infamous Shwedagong pagoda. No public toilet nearby, maybe they have it somewhere? we just couldn't find tho.

A great recreational place for both locals and foreigners. Large space and enjoy the Mingalar Hot Air-Balloon and the Zoo which is just in the area.

Away from the traffic and its exhaust, a green (also from water) place which has to be visited for great views, fresh air (dependent on the time) diverse and many restaurants, and some peculiar events. In contrast to Inya lake, KDG lake offers more accessible areas, parks, benches and trees for a picnic though it closes at nights.

Well, it's the one and only place to walk around throughout the long wooden passages over Kandawgyi lake. It's pretty good to take fancy photo with natural scenes. Ah there is also a swimming pool where I often go swimming. Moreover, there are many things that will please you and just go find it out.

Helium Balloon ride in this park. Highly recommend this. It gives you a view of Yangon. It is tethered and goes to 400 feet

Scenic and peaceful. Of the several entrances to the park, I recommend the one in front of the Yangon Zoological Garden entrance, which leads directly to a boardwalk that offers amazing views of the lake, the Kandawgyi Hotel, and the imposing Karaweik Palace. Be careful at the boardwalk as there are loose wooden planks and large gaps between them.

There aren't a lot of places to run to when it starts raining so it's a good idea to bring an umbrella or a poncho. Bring food and water if you plan to spend many hours here as there's very few food places nearby.

Good place to hangout, pleasure to see thousands of lotus flowers in the lake. Be careful on the footpath, it is old and not well maintained.

Park where local people go to hang out with friends. Although it has a great potential, it's not very well preserved. It's nice to go and read a book laying on the grass.
