Very well maintained park with full of orchids and flowers. Lots of rides are there of the children and it's well spread out. Must go one.

Modern shopping center, could be anyplace any country, nice if like modern stuff, boring for me. Nothing specially Myanmar about it, air-conditioned temple to "getting more stuff" 🤔🤓🤓

Best park in town. Lots of Amities, lots of shops, nice to eat shops, hot pots restaurants, and big compound. The best suite for everyone and for family outing. Central point location and easy for transportation. At popular place sanchaung.

Good for children to play. A lot of people especially Saturday and Sunday. I have to point out some things 1. Difficult to get water for to wash hands. 2. Not easy to find Public Toilet. 3. So noisy. 4. Around the area of shop are over prices. I really enjoyed for my first time. Many trees. That's Amazing

Perfect running place for me.. It’s not very crowded if you go before 6.. After 6, you will find some difficulty finding parking space.. Entrance fee is free in the morning.. Toilet is clean and you have to pay 200 kyats to use it.. it has got the perfect view for Shwedagon Pagoda..

The People's Square and Park (Burmese: ပြည်သူ့ရင်ပြင်နှင့် ပြည်သူ့ဥယျာဉ်) is one of the major parks surrounding the Shwedagon Pagoda in Yangon, Myanmar. Located west of the great pagoda to the former Pyithu Hluttaw (People's Parliament) complex, the 135.72 acre (54.92-hectare) park is bounded by Pyay Road to its west, U Wisara Road to its east, Dhammazedi Road to its north and Ahlone Road to its south.[1]

The area had been part of the palace grounds of Queen Shin Sawbu and later a golf course for some years during the colonial days.

A little over half of the complex is the 70.3-acre (284,000 m2) People's Square. A flower- and tree-lined marble esplanade starting from Pyithu Hluttaw towards the Shwedagon Pagoda is the center piece of the square. Over a thousand trees and plants from 52 species make up the square. Pyidaungsu Ayeyeik Nyein occupies a corner of the Square and holds a permanent exhibition of dioramas of various Burmese ethnic groups, specimens of valuable timber and gemstones from various parts of the country.[1]

People's Park occupies 65.42 acres (264,700 m2) adjacent to the square in the north. Over 3,000 plants including 72 species of trees, 12 species of bamboo and 50 species of shrubs and climbers indigenous to various parts of the country are planted in this park. botanical maze, flower displays, fruit trees and medicinal herbs account for an additional 17,000 flowering plants.

The biggest public park in Yangon. There is play ground, restaurants, beautiful landscape and flower. Some music concept and big evet used to happen here.

Close to the heart of Yangon. Located at the west of Shwedagon, Pagoda, you can enjoy the sunset in the evening. You need to pay to enter the North part (which is larger area with amusement area) of the park with water fountain. The south part of the park is free to enter.

This was a great experience, what is normally a beautiful , peaceful retreat, was super crazy during the water festival. It was something that my wife and I very much enjoyed, but caution, our two daughters aged 9 and 7 did not enjoy it. So great during water festival for adults and teens, but perhaps not for the little ones.
