Rustic place with simple dishes and beverages, cheap, with the most amazing views on the river. Chill in comfy chairs or benches. Quiet. Pure nature around. Great spot!

Great hideout to chill over beer and local meal (food menu is not extensive) and watch a few boats and fishermen do their thing. A good break from visiting pagodas under that heat.

Possibly the best homemade lemonade (served in a carafe!) I have ever tasted. That (or a beer) plus the beautiful views across the river and bamboo chairs or cosy beds to chill out across make for the perfect venue to relax amongst nature. The little dogs running around and the pristine toilets are an added bonus!

Great lime welcome drink, boatman stayed the longest out of the other boats for sunset. Left at 5.30 came back at 7. 30mins more

Tucked away from the busyness, the Fantasia Garden is a relaxing little place with nice views over the river. We tried their lemonade - delicious! We also hired a private boat for over an hour to see the sunset. The boat cost just 15K kyat, about $12 USD (that price covered all 6 people). We highly recommend going on one of these boat rides when you're in Bagan. It was a great way to spend some time on the river and see the temples from a different perspective.

Amazing little place hidden away from the hustle of Bagan. They serve huge portions for lunch (fetched from the local restaurant so he warned it takes 20-30 minutes) which are great and the lime drink is brilliant - definitely a must try!

They don't serve food early morning but we stopped by for a coffee and to admire the beautiful view. If we'd had more time in Bagan would have definitely gone back for an evening beer or the cheap boat trips.
