Rooms in hotel are like sraying in the open air jungle, humidity inside is beyond belief. 5 min shower takes 30 minutes because either water is boiling or freezing cold. Staff charges 2000 more kyats when borowing bikes at the hotel and tried to charge us 12000 for taxi to the airport (we refused to pay them and talked directly to the driver who took us there for 5000). Otherwise rooms are clean.

Well located guest house near the restaurant strip in Nyuang-U. Breakfast is included and is the standard Burmese fare of noodles, eggs, packet coffee and bananas. The room itself (ours was a standard double) had comfortable beds but the bathroom left much to be desired (once the shower got hot there was no other temperature except scalding). Also the room had a strong smoky and damp smell. Overall ok for the money but shop around if you have time and it's not peak season. Lastly definitely don't book cabs through the hotel as they will tip you off
