Reception doesn't speak a word English. Breakfast was a buffet without much choice. Beds were clean rest of the room wasn't really that clean. Warm shower. It's ok, maybe a little bit expensive for what you get.

Just right for an overnight stay. Location is not so good. Staff is not so good either, not the typical staff that supposed to welcome you when you get to Bago, Myanmar. 3-star rating is very generous rating.

Kind of far from the main sites in Bago, but thankfully there are at least a few places to eat a few blocks South. The breakfast is either fried rice/noodles, egg, toast, and fruit. The rooms are simple with 4 channels on the t.v. and moderate wifi. The showers are hot, and you can get bikes from them to see the city. Because of the distance from everything, I can't say I'd really recommend this place, even though there's nothing wrong with the service.

Rooms are nothing special though what gets me is they have a arrogance if the question comes about pricing.
Naturally if they are going to do a 2 price system for foreigners in Myanmar why shouldn't the tourist ask for better prices when the season is slow. We have to swallow there 2 price system so they have to swallow demand and supply.

Room was ok for the price.
BUT WE HAVE TO WARN YOU FROM THE SHADY PERSONS SELLING BUS TICKETS IN OR WITH THE HOTEL
If you want to go from hpa-an to Mandalay we recommend to take detour over Yangon.

Story: when we arrived with the bus from hpa-an several people were approaching us trying to sell bus tickets. We took a tuck tuck to this hotel. Just to see the one of the guys from before. After doing the check-in he tried to sell us a bus ticket which was double the price we got offered later.
So we went back to the bus station intending to buy the ticket from an official reseller. But we ended up buying from a different guy for half the price offered before, which is still way overpriced (check online). Crazy thing the guy from hotel and the guy we bought the ticket are buddies. They took us to the highway and after negotiating with the local guy (bus warlord) they tried to stop a bus to get us on it. Eventually we made it to some bus. But didn't need that experience.

Very low cost hotel but room quality on this price is best in Bago. Smoking zone is very nice and you can gossip with anyone. No restaurant attached with hotel. Breakfast is moderate level.

It's a perfect Hotel to stay in a small city like Bago. B/fast is free and it has nice varieties. Clean and healthy surroundings. They don't have the calling bell in the gate, that's the most irritating part. If you arrive around 3.00 am, you have to wait until morning. They even not pick up the call to open the gate. Rest is awesome.

Sufficient, even nice, hotel considering the context. Pros: helpful staff; free water bottles; garden seating area, Asian and western breakfast choices. Cons: poor mattresses, no top sheet, small rooms, very slow wifi.
