This is a hide away in a small alley way in the back, it is best to ask directions on arrival. The only draw back to this riad is that it's next to a school so in the mornings you will hear all the kids. With that said it's an awesome place to stay with nice staff and wonderful central courtyard where you can have a cup of tea. There are two rooms that face the courtyard and if you open the doors it's a wonderful experience durring the day and evenings. But what I suggest is to ask for the large room on top floor you will feel like a king.

It's a good guesthouse and the staff is very nice. However, we were supposed to be picked up from the airport, but no one came and we got no apologies or explanation afterwards. Also we had a small room with no heating so it was very cold. The shower was also sometimes cold. In the morning we got a nice breakfast, but it's not suitable for vegans. The hamam treatment and massage we got here was not good.

The cortyard is quite nice, but the rooms are dark and cold. The walls are very thin, so you will hear everything your neighbours say, either from the room or from the courtyard. Be fast in the shower, the water gets cold very quick.

We know Morocco very well so we also know that Riads often give you a different room than the one you book. It was our honeymoon so we wanted to be sure that we get the room we booked and called one day before our arrival. They said that everything is fine and that we will have our room for sure. When we arrived the guy working in the Riad (Mustafa) gave us another room, a totally other style and not at all what we wanted. Not cozy at all and dirty. We even saw a flea. He made up a big story and told us that this is the room on the pictures and that it got renovated. We felt so annoyed of the lies he was telling. He seriously assumed that we are stupid. When we called the director the also made up a story and said he wanted to make us a surprise because this room has a bigger bed. What?! We had to stay one night in this ugly room and received ours the next day. So I told him the next day "Ah so our room does exist then?" He didn't even answer on that question. Btw hte bed had exaclty the same size as the one in the first room. So tired of all the liesThey've been just to proud to excuse for their chaotic planning.
So, our room was prettier then the first one but also a bit dirty. A lot of hair (not ours) lying on the bedcover and not as pretty as on the pictures.
One evening we arrived around 10 pm, and no one opened us the door. We had to wait for around 20 minutes in front of the Riad in the darkness in a tiny little street. We knocked at the door and rang the bell non stop. No one opened. Luckily after 20 Minutes a lady, also a guest in the Riad, opened anxiously the door because she heard us. At the same moment Mustafa came and didn't even excuse!! Such an unpolite person! Not one smile during 6 days.
All in all a big disappointment after all these stories and lies.response / report this review -

Amazing restaurant! Very beautiful riad with the perfect morrocan atmosphere. Aziz was a very nice and friendly host. Thank you, we will come back :)

We only had dinner here, but although we arrived quite early for dinner (19:00) the staff was very friendly and helpful. The meal was delicious and they offer decent prices. What we saw of the rest of the riad looked good as well.

I cannot say enough good things about Riad Louna! We arrived very late and the kitchen stayed open to make us a meal, which was very much appreciated. Everything was delicious. Even though I am back home I can still taste the tagine and olives.
