A beautiful riad perfectly located just across the road from the chaotic medina.
A delicious complimentary light meal was offered on arrival and we were served a full breakfast every morning. They are also able to cook dinners and lunches on request. The riad has a small pool in the courtyard and a rooftop terrace with views over the old city.response / report this review -

My family (wife, son and 3 grandchildren,13,15,21) stayed 2 days
at the Riad Layalina Fes. What a beautiful Riad!! The rooms are great..
The people who worked there were exceptional, great service and went
out of there way to make you fill at home. You MUST eat breakfast at the
Riad. They bring fresh squeezed orange juice along with coffee or Morocco's famous mint tea. Then we got a pancake type dish
with jams,jellies and honey along with a coffee cake and egg.
An the location is only 500 yards from an entrance to the Medina, you
have to visit the Medina if you are going to Morocco. It was the one of
the high lights of our Morocco six day trip. A Riad is a place you have
stay in Morocco and this Riad is an A+ ,you won't be disappointed.response / report this review -

Oh, how we loved this place! We only stayed here for one night because the other nights were booked but we would have stayed here the whole time if we could. The place is BEAUTIFUL. Food was delicious, and the staff.. they are so wonderful and kind. We really have nothing to complain about and would stay here if we were to go to Fes again!

Beautiful Riad in a great location with staff that will do their absolute best and work so hard to make sure you have a perfect stay. At Riad Layalina, you're guaranteed a perfect stay, the best of many many Riads I have stayed in, I will be coming back to Layalina

Beautiful Riad
We stayed two nights at the Riad Layalina. Jerome & his team welcomed us warmly. We got really good advice for restaurants & trips in the area. Beautiful room in the first floor, stunning atrium, delicious food. More that we could ask for! We would book it again eventhough it was a little hard to locate first ;-)response / report this review -

My girlfriend and I stayed at Riad Layalina for two nights in August 2017 and had a great experience. The riad itself is beautiful, with a courtyard, a pool, and fantastic views of the city and hills. Our room was palatial--it had a whole other bedroom we didn't even use, as well as a living room overlooking the courtyard, a large bathroom, and the main bedroom--and all for only 160 Euros. The staff was a real highlight. Each morning they served us a generous breakfast of pastries, eggs, coffee, and orange juice, and they were happy to help us out with calling cabs and communicating with a driver we had hired for a day trip to another city. Most importantly, when I accidentally left behind a ring and a phone charger, they found them and sent them to me in America free of charge.The location is also great for exploring the old medina, and it's a quick cab ride to the train station. I highly recommend Riad Layalina and hope to stay there again when I return to Fez.

Fantastic service and food, plus a delightful welcome (tagine) surprise when you arrive. The Riad is beautifully decorated, convenient for parking and walking distance from all the sites.

Beautiful Riad in an excellent location!
We so enjoyed this jewel of a hotel. Close walking distance to the hustle and bustle but far enough away for it to be peaceful. Sa'id and Jafar looked after us extremely well serving up a free breakfast fit for kings. The Wifi is super fast, nice hot showers and beautiful decor throughout!response / report this review -

Not enough can be said about how wonderful the staff were at Riad Layalina and how lovely the setting is. The riad is very well located in a quiet part of the medina but near all the action. It was winter during our visit but the inviting swimming pool in the main courtyard must be heaven in the summer months, and our room was very lovely (even though it was rather cold until the heat kicked in). The bathroom was really nice with a spacious shower, and views from the roof were great. We also had dinner at the riad which was equally delicious as breakfast: a mezze spread with aubergine, olives, and salad, and then tagine followed by a fruit spread. Definitely recommend having your dinners at the riad! The staff though is what made it a truly excellent experience, Jaffa in particular. Upon our arrival at the riad at 10am (not official check-in time) a full breakfast was waiting for us: fresh orange juice, omelette, bread/butter/jam, coffee, and typical cakes. Jaffa and his colleagues not only helped us figure out which bus to take to Chefchaouen and which train to Marrakech, but they physically WENT to the stations to buy the tickets for us! This saved us a bunch of time since the stations are located in the new city, and it allowed us to begin exploring the medina. After we checked out of the riad to go on our 1-night stay in Chefchaouen they also let us store our larger bags there for us to collect 2 days later. Would definitely recommend staying here!
