There is an amazing courtyard here. The exhibits are not put together well. A bit disjointed. Little English used.

The museum building itself is very beautiful with its mosaics and doors. But this architecture is to find in a lot of (cheaper!) places in this town (like the Palais Bahia).

The entrance fee of 50Dh (ca. 5€) is ridiculous, since the exhibition is very poor and only in French. It is just a bunch of pictures with no real visible theme. Very disappointing!

Ok place but small exhibits in very huge rooms. A little bit of everything but needs more items. Good painting. In-house artists was off today (march 2018)

No lack of Moroccan culture in this museum. Everything from the architecture to the music playing will take you through the history of this wonderful city. I consider this place a gem because it was nearly entirely empty when I visited, giving me the freedom to enjoy the background music of the oud and the art around me unobstructed.

A bit funky much like everything here in Marrakesh. It has the level of artifacts and detail I was expecting in the palaces and tombs (those places have nothing, it's more about the building and the grounds). If you're short on time it's not necessary to see all the palaces, just the major one. It will give you the best idea of what the rest are about. The tombs are about the same. If you get a guide you'll get more details.

It is really nice. I was surprised that there were a lot of things for sale. I doubt that the Marrakech museum should be used as a gallery for selling paintings that are evidently developed in bulk with the only scope to earn money.

Very basic museum, with descriptions in French and Arabic only. Limited range of exhibits. Despite the details on Googlemaps, the museum closes at 6pm. 50 dirhams entry. Nice but simple cafe in the courtyard outside (access free) which offers a welcome respite from the bustle of the surrounding streets.

Nestled within the souks of Medina, the tranquil environment is a much welcomed break from the hustle and bustle of the streets/alleys leading up to the museum. Worth going to meet the calligraphy artist set up in the middle!

An interesting place to visit. The building itself is the star of the show while some of the exhibits are looking a little moth eaten.
Worth the price and a couple of hours.

Don't come here for the exhibits (which are nothijg special), come here for the beautiful building. We spent ages sitting on the comfy seats admiring the architecture and relaxing by the water fountain. The hammams were cool to check out too.
