This is a lovely gem of tranquility away from the madness that is Marrakesh. At this time of year (early March) it's better than the Jardin Majourelle, which was rather disappointing with just bamboo and cacti, half the price, and no need to queue for an hour.

Reclaimed from a derelict plot a couple of years ago, there are information boards and a video of how the water flows from the mountains and irrigates the mosques and then the garden. Fascinating for people who are interested in how stuff works.

Drinks in the Islamic garden or more food on the first floor terrace.

The newish pavilion in the middle of the Islamic garden (think large band stand, if you're British) is still being painted, in intricate Islamic style. BY HAND, while you watch.

Oasis of calm in the middle of the Medina. Consists of two gardens, the Exotic and Islamic garden. Opened in 2016 after a two year renovation, the site has an interesting history well described in both text and video form. For those interested, the water engineering of the garden is also well described, including historical features, content, and context. Great place to escape the motorbikes of the Medina, and relax after a day walking around in the souks.

Especially enjoyed the video on its renovation, what a project! Excellent job! Kind employees, collecting lavender flowers etc. And little kitten napping in between the succulents. Nice place to lounge around.

Pretty and quiet garden with benches in the shade which is really nice. The salads they serve are quite tasty. The best part of this garden is the view from the tower. You have to buy an extra ticket to gain access to the tower, but that is more than worth it, they even tell a few stories about it.

This is all very new it needs a few more years to become established but it’s worth a visit for a tranquil lunch. We had drinks which were nice and refreshing and the food was also well done with a small but varied menu. The price to get in is a little steep and I think maybe to attract more visitors they should do entry deal for those purchasing food.

Beautiful rooftop view, but be careful of the security guards--they will follow you around and tell you about the garden, seemingly for free because "it is their job", but once they are done they will hassle you for money. Typical of Morocco, but don't be afraid to tell them you didn't pay for a guide and don't need their help.

Magical spot hidden amongst the bustling souks. 50d entrance + 30d to go up the tower. Loses a star on account of café; expensive, poor service and super-dry almond tart. A crying shame in such a perfect spot - to be avoided. There's a high tone boutique also.

This is a wonderful oasis in the middle of a noisy bustling city. It is a testament to visionaries who originally built it but also to those who have restored the gardens for future generations. Worth the detour when it simply too hot to want to do anything else!

Incredible garden. I definitely enjoyed it more than the Jardin Majorelle. Incredible that you can find such peace and serenity in the heart of Marrakesh. The food from the restaurant is also delicious. Staff was incredibly friendly and told us a lot about the architecture and the thought that goes behind placement of plants water structures fruit trees etc.

Amazing garden. Must see with kids. We went on a very hot day but didn't feel any heat in most parts of this garden. In total spent 3 hours there. Cafe is very expensive though

This garden should not be missed, its a beautiful place to spend at least 2 hrs.The food and drinks are good price and quality.Its a must see as they show you how its been resorted by craftsmen.

Beautiful hidden gem. Extremely well renovated, such eye for detail. Really a true oasis in the heart of the old medina, amongst all the souks. Real friendly hosts. Definitely worth spending some of your spare time here. Although the restaurant seems a little overpriced.
