Interesting place to visit. Has been very well revamped which shows off the beautiful workmanship. Gets pretty busy but if you go early its reasonably calm.

Interesting, but a lot of the descriptions and signs are in French only. I feel like I would have got more out of my visit if my French was better or there were more translations. Still worth visiting, it's just a shame we didn't understand everything.

Nice place to see some history. Watch the movie inside the palace to understand how it historically looked. It is definitely not necessary to visit the mosque inside the palace. Skip it and safe the money even though it is 1 euro. The view from the tower is great. You can see the entire place and the area around the city.

A true oasis and escape from the bustling and sometimes stressful city. Absolutely beautiful. The luxury of it all must have been amazing when it was in use. Look for the storks on the roofs and walls!

Our family of four spent a couple of hours here. Don't miss the view from the terrace, take time to notice the storks on top of the wall, and stroll through both underground caves (one right near the entrance and the other near the crumbled rock ruins).
There is a short video in a cool, covered room opposite the entrance that is worth a few minutes on a hot day.response / report this review -

Cool old kasbah that is well worth a visit if it's just to see the dungeons, photography and museum like treasures in the basement. There are a lot of storks and cats! Worth 10 Dh entry if you are in the kasbah area of Marrakesh and fancy seeing something different.

Nice place. I liked to be here for our short visit (less than 1 hour). It’s a must-see a big piece of history. The 3D video tell all about the place. Many storks above the walls and the restoration workshop is still going on. I must be back after the end of the workshop. Cheers

It’s an ok place to visit. There’s not a great deal to see. This is the older of the palaces and fairly baron. There’s some history and culture to be found but fairly average.

A huge historical place quite difficult to imagine a palace with over 300 rooms decorated in gold, turquoise and crystal. But there are several panels that help you to come back time. Worth visiting. Try to protect your head and skin coz of the sun. The ticket is very cheap.

Amazing place, there's not much left from the original palace, but the ruins are beautiful. Totally a must in your trip. If you go during summer I must say it's pretty hot there since there barely are shadows to hide yourself from the sun, so bring a hat.

A must to see in Marrakesh. One of the nicest experiences in the city. I saw it on late march the smell of blooming citrus blossom was like a sent from heaven after along day in the "Mdina". I recommend it

This impressive work of architecture is now a ruin. Storks have made the place their home. There is an interesting exhibit underground - but it's all in either French or in Arabic. We could not really enjoy it much. There is an entry fee applicable. I think it's 20 dirham per person.
