I chose this hotel for the rate mainly. I stayed in Ibis hotel other cities last year. I am spending 2 nights here. This is my 1st visit to Ouarzazat. I came by bus from Marrakech ( not advisable. 200km in 4 hours and a half and not a good road) I am leaving to Casablanca by plane. The hotel is average. Acceptable. If u could afford another one, do not hesitate.

So much cigarette smoking downstairs that the whole hotel smells of it. Huge 10cm long smear of blood on the wall next to the toilet in our room. Tv was not functioning. The room layout was clever; but when one of the bed side tables had been ripped off the wall and the damage to the wall just left, it's hard to say anything nice about the room.

I was not impressed by my stay here. The pillows are very small and flat. They do not provide robes or slippers. I had to request extra pillows and towells! The service was not good.

Rooms smelled, someone was smoking inside. Water in shower had a brown color. Swimming pool was nice.

So so. Other people on the tour hated it even more. My room reeked of smoke. Lots of obnoxious Russians about. My shower head was broken; I fixed it. Apparently, I'm more handy than the staff. Breakfast was okay. I'm always good to with cold cereal and croissants. Pool looked nice, but it was not heated. I would stay elsewhere if in the area again. Whilst I never had to deal with the front desk, there apparently was some brouhaha with rude Russians demanding that members of our tour get off of the office computers. Supposedly, the front desk staff actually threatened to kick out the Russians hotel.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Easy access by road. Most important things were location and hostel rules. We travelled with a large group, so it was important that the staff would accommodate our late check-in and room preferences, which they did. All in all, it was perfect for our intention (short trip to Ouarzazate with a large group).
