    PRO ****
Remarkable breakfast and dinner experience! Extraordinary choise of high quality food prepared with care and served by an army of friendly staff. Walking along the entire beach to Agadir harbour the hotel seems to be in the best spot. The atmosphere in the hotel is relaxing and the architecture comes with traditional elements to escape everyday life.
KIDS can take a plunge in the separatly heated pool. There is also an indoor play area with staff looking after the kids, 4 years and older. A few sand toys keep small kids busy at the private beach and pool.

    BUT **
The reception up to management has been incapable to fix or replace our hand-luggage which arrived broken in our room after 10 days. We had to chase progress every other day and spend at least an hour due to lack of internal and missing customer communication. After all, there was no solution other than finding a replacement ourselves. Asking for a screwdriver I fixed our luggage myself in 30 minutes. Confronting the hotel management with the incompetence of providing a professional services for resolution we received a stuffed animal as apologies. Given the 5 star rating of this international hotel and the 2.5K we spend, our expectation has been to gain back at least the time we lost going through the trouble e.g. by an in-house spa voucher or souvenir worth our time. Unfortunately the management thinks otherwise so be aware.

Check in was super fast and with morroco tea and coffee it has given us very welcoming feeling.
At reception desk Asma and Rachid helped us a lot during our 7 day stay at Sofitel.
Room was clean and perfect for our stay . Pool view was really good .
House keeping was very helpful. They use to come 2-3 times per day to clean room and change towel and use to give free small bottle of water and cookies or chocolate or biscuits.
Room was hot for night time so asked for air cooler which hotel provided us straight away. Rachid and Asma was very efficient behind reception desk.
    For breakfast
Chef Fatima , Jamila And Samira cooked fresh omelette and Moroccan pancake and they were very welcoming .always ask if we need anything.

BushrA (Waitress) was very good with making coffee and bring juice to our table and always tried her best to make our breakfasts species meal of day .

Poolside was very good and staff their were very friendly .
Security guard like said , Ayub were very friendly and often gave tips on where to go for best place to visit.
This is best and safe hotel to visit in adagir and it has night club aswell if you looking for night life and their is no entry fee if you staying at this hotel.
    Welldone Sofitel team .

It is an expensive hotel but we only stayed for two days and therefore affordable, especially at this time of the year (October). The staff is very professional and helpful. Basically you can ask them for about everything and they would provide good advise. The breakfast is great with a wide range and selection of quality products. You can ask for as much coffee, tee and fresh juice as you wish. The rooms are clean and looks great, BUT we were upgraded to a superior double room and therefore I´m not quite sure how spacious the standard room would have been. The pool and seating options in the garden are fantastic. The beach is not far and it is absolutely clean and fantastic. Again I doubt there would be sufficient space in the main season but I´m just speculating. All in all it was a great experience and I´d choose this hotel again should I be able to afford a whole week stay.

Our room could use an update but the great cleaning service made up for that fact. Only annoying thing is that the key card constantly stopped working after a couple of days but this was quickly fixed by the friendly hotel staff.
Appreciated the very cosy and dreamlike garden with the amazing pool. There is a touch of authenticity that the neighbouring Sofitel lacks.
Breakfast and dinner buffets are great and offer a great variety.
All in all, great value for money.

Superb hotel staff cannot do enough for you. The gardens and pools are amazing. Fatima Zahra the assistant manager was really helpful and is a great asset to this wonderful hotel.

Check in at midnight and had hang around for an hour but the could not get the rooms arranged we requested. Was very annoyed until I spoke to the assistant manager Fatima Zahra who swiftly upgraded to the room we requested. Amazing lady with brilliant hospitality skill and extremely helpful.
I would give here 6 stars if I could.

I was in hotel 10 minutes before 3 pm and the check in process took almost 1 hour. No apologies. I paid extra for a room with ocean view and 4 people. The room was small and outdated. We could not sleep because of the AC noise. It is not worth the money you spend. When I complained, the lady in front reception acknowledged but no apologies and she told me to book in the other Sofitel location next time. I was shocked. Never again

This is my second time visiting the same hotel, my first time was back in 2014 and it was so great, the reason we came back this summer. The service was horrible on every level there is. Starting from the reception! I booked a pool/ocean view and we got it indeed, only it was one of the oldest and most rugged rooms one could experience. And to state the wrong things we experienced I must put them in order.
    1. Reception was trying to head count myself and my kids, which seemed very odd even to my kids.
    2. The sheets had stains on them and were covered with a throw.
    3. The pool service was the worst, the towel boy would get our order wrong many times to add to the fact he never laid the kids' towels on the bench/bed, he brought four towels and THREW them on the seat and walked away.
    4. The breakfast area had no AC running and when I asked for it to be turned on, the waiter has the audacity to tell me to be patient!! And this is in July and the outside temperature is the high 80F
    5. The telephone had no numbers on it, you would have to guess the numbers as well as who to dial if you needed anything, this was very frustrating!! And once on the phone, person on the other side can't hear you and the line is constantly cutting off.
    6. Reception again, this was during check out, the one receptionist that spoke English was "multi-tasking" while checking us out, she was talking to one colleague and handing some papers to another, it was as if I was at some market in the medina! Very unprofessional and I have already filled a detailed complaint to the Accor hotels about the lousy service we received during our stay! Sofitel used to be my favorite place to stay at in Morocco, never again! I am extremely disappointed and very much let down and so were my kids!

Nice hotel but I wouldn't give it a 5* it is more like a 4* hotel with very slow and poor service. Breakfast was amazing and all staff very attentive.
