In the past, it used to be one of the best places in the city. Now, things have changed. The view of the place is still remarkable but the service abd the quality of goods are not as they used to be. I recommend going there in the morning because it gets crowded in the evening especially in good weather time.

Good place to sit by yourself or with friends and enjoy the view and the relaxed atmosphere. Casual place, mostly locals, diverse clientele. I sat there for a while, reading, enjoying Turkish coffee and 'Moroccan crepe'; i liked it very much.

The place is a mess. It's dirty, always full and the service is horrible. But, it is my favorite place in Tanger. It has a nice view and a historical value and of course you can eat and even smoke hash there, but that's not the reason why many love it. I believe it is all what I said before including the mayhem, plus something else I can't define.

Nice view yeah that's why they've been opened since the 20s
Service slow, you need to hustle to get something.
Also, don't be surprised: people fight for the best seats and easily swap their table with one closer to the sea front. If you want a nice seat, act fast!!

Slow service, we waited for 15 mins to get the menu, then another 45 mins for the food but the cafe was not packed. Food was mediocre and the mint tea was too sweet.

A good place to enjoy the view, just don't expect any service.

This is a popular cafe among tourist. Always very busy. But for a reason. The atmosphere and the view over the ocean is great. I had ordered tradicional mint tea. It was very good.

Amazing place to have a glass of Moroccan tea (yes, glass! Not a cup! haha) and the view is amazing! If you're lucky enough you can see Spain on the other side! Expect people of all ages smoking hash.
