  The old Cafe de France has been beautifully renovated and is now called Salon de The Place de France and is a combined cafe, restaurant, pizzeria and ice cream business that takes up an entire block directly on the Place de France.
  
  The cafe is attractive outside and inside. There are comfortable chairs inside and outside and there is a simple and modern decor, with tall ceilings and a mezzanine level in the Cafe portion.
  
  There is a separate corner entrance on Rue de Fes for the restaurant-pizzeria, which serves breakfasts, juices, pizzas, hamburgers, French fries and sandwiches, all at reasonable prices.
  
  I enjoyed a coffee inside the main cafe area and sat near the front doors with the view out to the non-working fountain on the Place de France. Since I had an urge to eat something, I went to the counter and saw a cheese cake, which to my surprise, was not overly sweet and it was only 15 dirhams and a generous size, so I left feeling satisfied and glad to have finally been to this place.
  
  There is WiFi inside the Salon de The (Cafe) which is not always strong, but for some reason it did worked better on my Samsung Galaxy telephone rather than on my Apple iPad Air.

  The old Cafe de France is now called Cafe Glacier Place de France and is a combined cafe, restaurant, pizzeria and ice cream parlor that takes up an entire block directly on the Place de France.
  
  The cafe has been entirely remodeled and it is attractive outside and inside. There are comfortable chairs inside, a simple and modern decor, with tall ceilings and a mezzanine level in the Cafe portion.
  
  There is a separate entrance for the restaurant. I have not eaten in the restaurant, but I glanced at the menu and it has simple foods, pizzas, sandwiches, etc. with reasonable prices.
  
  I enjoyed a coffee inside the main cafe area and sat near the front doors with the view out to the fountain on the Place de France. As I had an urge to eat something, I went to the counter and saw a cheese cake, which to my surprise, was not overly sweet. It was only 15 dirhams and a generous size, so I left feeling satisfied and glad to have seen this place.

  I didn't particularly love the burger. The fries and sauce were really good. They have wifi, toilets, and the staff is really welcoming. They speaks Spanish, French and English. Pretty nice spot for a quick bite, charge your phone and get some wifi.
