Even the suits are worn down. Cannot recommend this hotel.

Good service. Good people. However too sometime too few of them. Sometime one person served all at breakfast. A bed we got was broken.

Seemingly "quaint" experience turned into a dislike when the bed for the Suite was probably the worst I've slept on in a long time. So bad my wife had to sleep on the floor it hurt so much. There was a electric noise that went off every 2 minutes that kept us up all night! Mentioned it to the staff in the morning along with additional blanks and pillows. They did absolutely nothing. We came back.. no pillows, no blankets, nobody had checked the noise. We mentioned it yet again.. assured somebody would check.. went to dinner, came back. Nothing. Ended up switching with the other person in the group. Just really uncaring staff that didn't give 2 hoots about our comfort. It is walking distance to the downtown area which made it the biggest plus. The downside was an awful bed and an unresponsive staff.

It's a very silent and cosy place in the heart of old Riga city. The beautiful fountain in the yard, where the outside terrace is working for summers, gives you relax. Nice place to spend working day evening with friends or colleagues. And the bar has happy hour everyday from 6pm-8pm with delicious cocktails ;)
