Very good place for your family holidays. Highly recommend this place. Clean pools. Specially nice kids pool separated from the main pool. Staff also little friendly. Very nice beach in front of the hotel. Breakfast was ok. Rooms looks little old. Needs renovation. Long passage way to walk from the parking to the rooms, but manageable. Overall good place to be.

I went for 2 nights. Had a lovely time. The beach was dirty after the violent storm 2 nights back. But the hotel staff was cleaning it. We spend the mornings on the beach and the evenings on the pool.
At night there was songs played and some of the guest started dancing.
The restaurant staff need to be more attentive and pay more attention to guests.
Love their pork curry.

Ask for a room close to lobby or with easy access to beach

Great place for a getaway. The food & the restaurant was great although a few more items can be added to the buffet. The rooms & bathrooms were clean & well maintained. Friendly staff. The pool was very spacious. The adjoining beach was shallow & can be enjoyed well.

Enjoyed the wonderful beach with shallow sea. The swimming pool is also good. Food was OK, but the selection in the buffet was less. Nothing special in the rooms. Looks like they were recently refurbished but no high tech. All rooms has a view to the sea. They have a small theater for private movie watching. There is a party hall that is not sound proof. You can hear the music if there is a party even from rooms. Staff is friendly. I recommend this place.

This hotel is very good! Both our children and we enjoyed our stay very much. We stayed here for almost a week. The staff is very polite and tries to help you where they can. The food, the gym (especially liked by our 18 year old son who is going to study gymnastics), the swimming pool and the other sports and relax facilities are established very well. Also the music program in the evening is nice and interesting for (we think) almost all people.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to other people!

Great location. Very close to the sea shore. The pool was good and well maintained. The room as well as the food were OK. But the biggest disappointment was that there was no wifi in the rooms and it was available only in the lobby. So, we had to run to the lobby in order to make a call via internet every time. That was difficult.
Other than that, the stay was good.

Place & staff is excellent.
But not satisfied with the condition of rooms.
Bar and restaurant is great.
Morning spread was OK, dinner could use more options.
Beach is excellent with no rubbish and shallows for a long way.. nice sceneries with small island too..

Nice, clean and spacious rooms, big pool and delicious foods are on the plus side. But the staff is not so good. Overall this is foreigner friendly hotel since the had an agreement with German travel group. We went their under a credit card promotion. They hid everything from the start of the booking. Specially at the booking counter at the York Arcade building Colombo. There was rude young woman, who did not reveal that the promotion is only for half board. Luckily I did not pay the full and later adjusted my previous full board booking to a half board booking. Actually this is a nice hotel spoiled by a rude staff even at the very beginning from the help desk. If you are a local and do not bother these mistreats much, you can enjoy the place very much. Since the safe sea is near you can enjoy the sea bath as well as the pool too.

The place was perfect, close to the beach. It is not too far from the main town. And there was great staff. Price of food may be on the pricier side because of the tax but for the tasty food and relaxing ambience the extra charge is alright.

The hotel is good. The rooms are clean. The food was okay, but the varieties available for a vegetarian is limited. The staff was friendly. Great place for you if you're planning to spend your vacation near the beach.

Very nice, squirrels and water monitors viewable here. Needs a paint job and a revamp in the billiards room but everything else very good!
