Amazing place for private dining or hanging out with friends. Went there after reservation booking. The staff was welcoming and even introduce the history of the restaurant and the cafes they own. We ordered pasta dishes and pizza upon their recommendations and it was really worthy and super tasty too. We ordered almost all types of desserts and it was great specially their tiramasu is a must try.

Such a lovely place to go on a romantic evening date. Free from the noisy colombo environment. Highly recommend if you are finding somewhere to relax after a hard day

The staff was really friendly and was very helpful with picking items from the menu. The service was exceptional and ambiance was amazing.

The food was absolutely delicious and the toppings on the pizza and thickness of pizza bread was upto my preference.

Will surely recommend this place!

Cool ambience, friendly staff. Food was good. We used the top floor. The tables were uncomfortable as they were wobbling to one side or the other. Strangely one of the glasses suddenly broke as a friend of mine only just made a grip on it to drink. It just broke into half. Luckily he didn't hurt himself.

Not the worst, not the best. Only some place of the property has air conditioning - a big down for property in Colombo. Staff needs severe training on etiquette and menu knowledge. However the food was commendable.
They're able to host a small event if needed.

Great venue.. Super setup. Pages and pages of options. Ordered the duck ravioli which came out at room temperature, sent it back to which they cooked a brand new one. The salami pizza was flavoursome but a bit doughy.. Would have preferred it to have a thinner base. Service is top notch, will definitely be back again.

One of the finest restaurants exist over a decade and n Colombo . Have undergone so many changes .. good is good and nice atmosphere.. outdoor marquee bar is also a popular place to hang around as well as to have functions .. the colonial architecture of the building creates a nice atmosphere and ambiance.. food is good even though it takes some time to deliver since they made on order ..

We had the Blue Room to ourselves during lunch on a weekend.
Staff were attentive and responded promptly to the buzzer.
Wide selection of Italian food in the menu.
The bar downstairs is also a good place to start an evening.(Tip: the lychee martini is delicious!)

Aside from waiting a long time for our meal, the overall experience was fairly good. There's a fair amount of choice for those who don't eat cheese and wheat, a fair amount of wines, and some nice breads for snacking pre-meal.

There's outdoor seating, indoor seating, air conditioned seating, and a bar. There also seems to be a restaurant dog that chills out in the garden. I recommend making a reservation, as the place is quite popular.

Friendly staff and cosy atmosphere. Very low key Order came within 10-15 minutes. Expect to pay around LKR 3000-3500 per person. They have limited parking outside.

Food is really tasty and the desserts are yummy. You can enjoy traditional Italian foods, desserts & wooden burned pizza.
Service is good with friendly staff but you need to wait at least 30 mins of waiting time to get served.

went for dinner with my two friends from Australia, . they have
collection of food with pizza, homemade pasta and meat items.we ordered fresh pasta and marinated grilled pork dish ,the food is delicious and authentic. full but knowing dessert would be knockout we ordered baked Alaska. it was yummy ,,,,,igloo of baked meringue with soft sponge cake. the dish has great balance of sweet, the cream and cake was so sweet while meringue canceled it.must come back for their dessert.

Ordered take out for 11 people. Order was accurate. Waited a little for the food to be ready, but it was very hot. I chose to pick it up myself but they do deliver.

The food is amazing and its very consistent. I have not had a bad order through the years I have been going to Bayleaf. The staff is attentive and gives a good service. Its generally not crowded during lunch so its a nice quiet and cosy place to have an enjoyable lunch. The portions are quite generous so I guess the price is justifiable.
