Worst place ever. Despite advance bookings they give away rooms to the highest bidder. Left us and so many other people stranded. Didn't even have the courtesy to inform us. Only found out during check in time.

BE WARNED! We booked 3 rooms for 7 people a month in advance for new year's eve 2017. Upon arrival Riverside Cabanas denied the existence of the booking (despite confirmation from Agoda) and tried to shift us on to a dingy apartment of theirs elsewhere. A day later they cancelled our booking on Agoda claiming we were a no-show. During the 1 hour we spent there (using WiFi to find alternate accommodation) we witnessed another 2 groups arrive and be faced with exactly the same problem.

Very bad experience at Riverside Cabanas in Mirissa. We booked a month in advance for 7 people, only to be told upon arrival that, despite a valid and active booking with Agoda, they had given the rooms to someone else. They cancelled our booking the following day on Agoda claiming we were a no show. We witnessed another group of a similar size arrive and be faced with exactly the same problem.

Rooms were clean and well maintained. Food was great too. Given the affordable price, I think this is a great place to stay!

Clean comfortable rooms. Good location with five minute walk to the beach. The room amenities are limited. Pass on breakfast.

Nice little place, helpful staff. The outdoor garden is a plus. Try little tuna and Dewmini Roti shop restaurants nearby!
