Delicious Japanese foods are there..beautiful place near the polathumodara beach. Calm and nice place. Very good staff is there. Specially for Japanese food lovers..

Nice rooms with AC. Also has a restaurant which provides breakfast with the stay. Lunch and dinner can be purchased. Great access

One of the most amazing locations if you want to stay right on the beach. You can have you private Bonfire at night and go endless surfing during the day. The rooms are old colonial British style with attached toilet and bathroom. The management is extremely helpful and they went out of their way to help us. They have a wonderful restaurant which serves mind blowing dishes. I would definitely recommend this place to people who want to stay a little bit away from crowd.

We cancelled the room after seeing the property.
Honestly said, i don't understand online references .
In a nutshell, stinky AC for which you pay extra, dirty room with flies everywhere. Electric plugs out of the walls, sink connection through the hole in the wall.
Hotel beach full of garbage and dogs running all over, thus, you can't enjoy any minute lying on the beach.
Really can't find any positive.
I would be ashamed offering such place for money.
Final comment from reception regarding the smell was that in the first floor walls were freshly painted that day. Come on, it is off season, hotel is empty, so why the hell are they trying this, and not give you the room on different floor immediately.

Hotel beds where good, not too hard or soft. Breakfast was good with fresh fruits. Location of the hotel and restaurant is very nice by the beach away from the crowd and noise.
Restaurant was so good! Excellent food made by Japanese chef who also is the owner. Before sunset they move tables to the beach so you can watch the sunset while you drink or eat by the sea.response / report this review -

Welch eine Freude dieses Guesthouse zufällig gefunden zu haben. Es liegt nicht an dem von Restaurants und Hotels überfülltem Mirissa-beach. Es hat einen (gefühlt) eigenen grenzenlosen Strand. Zur Zeit ist mit September die Offsaison und ich bin hier im Haus und am Strand wirklich der Einzige. Ich bin mir sicher das die vorzügliche Betreuung ( und dennoch völlig unaufdringlich) wie auch das hervorragende Essen (exzellentes mexikanisches Restaurant) auch in der Hochsaison sehr gut sein werden. Ich fühle mich in meinem Zimmer mit Blick aufs Meer ( siehe Foto ) wie Zuhause.
