  It is a main railway station on the coastal railway. Most of the express trains and almost all slow trains stop here. Direct long services such as KANDY and VAVUNIYA can be accessed here

  Of course the place is not well maintained just like most railway stations. But the ticketing counters are efficient. Most of trains stop here

  This is one of the main Railway Station in Coast Line.
  95% of trains are stop at here.
  This place in active From 4am to 11pm
  But the facilities are not good at here.
  You can find the ATM but NO WASHROOMS.
