Ragama Junction Railway station is a main stop at the colombo railway. There are 3 ways up to Colombo, up to Meegamuwa and Kandy. Also There are 3 flat-from for each way. The station is very busy place all the time. Passengers can buy any kind of ticket in the ticket contour. Canteen, toilets are available. Lost of people get down and get into the trains in this station because there are couple of important places surround area. Most of the express trains are stooped But some of express trains are not. Lost of foreign passengers get down here for change there trains. Railway staff are very helpful. So you can ask any help from them. Remember you con not enter to the station without a any kind of valid tickets.

Ragama railway station is Junction to Halawatha line, Badulla , Jafna line and colombo. Usually busy railway station specialy morning and evening. Only few trains from Ragama to Colombo. Most of the inter city trains stop here.when the trains reached here over crowded and not able to get sheet. Ragama to Colombo express train take about 25 minutes. Ragama rail way station to Negombo road is about 3 km and kandy road kadawatha about 5 kms.

Crowded always. Situated in the main railway line and it's the first junction in the main railway line. Chillaw and Negambo trains are deviated from Ragama Railway station. Best way to avoid traffic to Colombo via Kandy road is to take a train from Ragama Railway Station.

Ragama junction railway station is one of main railway station. At ragama it is the first deviding place of railways. At ragama junction railway station railways go through two sub railways puttalam railway and main railway. It is usually crowdy place and it is also available 24 hour arrivals. But it cannot be done reservations in ragama junction railway yet. It you wanna make any ticket booking or reservations you may go gampaha railway station who currenty living near these areas.

Ragama junction. 1st junction you reach when you traveling to upcountry or north east. One line puttalam via negembo other line go to upcountry and north east line. Up to ragama station 3 track functioning. You can get all the intercity train here. Weekdays morning and evening fully packed. Most of the people are daily travelling towords colombo for their work.

Major Railway Station in the island. Most of express trains stop here. But low facilities. No cafeteria at all. Broken train shedule board. Dirty toilets, no proper washrooms. Only positive thing is you can easily travel to basically anywhere from this railway station.
