Amazing historical site located on top of a large rock. At the top of the rock there is a man built ancient water pool (See uploaded pictures). There were evidences on the way to the rock that ancient king lived here. Surprising fact is how they pump such a large amount of water to the high top of the rock. Ampara is located in drought zone and most periods of year without any rain. But you can see clean and clear water at this water pool. Currently water is consumed by wild elephants. If you go here just be carefull from elephants and bees.
