An excellent place to learn maritime history of Sri Lanka. The building was the official residence of the Dutch Naval Commissioner of the Trincomalee, which is in now well restored as it was in the Dutch colonial era. Vistiors can watch and learn many historical facts from here. The entrance is fully free, but the photographing is strictly prohibited inside the museum.
