This is museum is better than the national museum in Colombo. They have a lot exhibits that correlate to the Civil war. You can get see a ton of all kinds of guns, suicide kits, bombs and military radio equipment etc. in this place. More importantly you can try out shooting in this place for fun. The military personnel working here are very friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend this place if you are visiting Trincomalee.

Good place to see the fire gun, fire tank and supporting equipments used by SL ARMY and tiger during the war period. Guide provided for each group to explain the things around. You can have a good fun if you like to fire air rifle to correct target. We spend nearly 2 hours at air rifle range. The enterence fee is Rs. 20 for adult and Rs.10 for kids.

Well worth the money! You are given an army personal to describe all the weapons and the tanks displayed there. They give a thorough explanation of all of the exhibits.
