Hospitalized my husband for tonzils and fever.he was admitted for 5 days and consulted the ent surgeon only at once.vp not coming on time and we had to wait until they report to the work after all their vacation.we discharged him after 5 days but still not recovered.nurses are really caring.but not recommended to hospitalize to anyone.

Pros: Largest private hospital in Kalutara. Provides wide range of services at an affordable price.
Cons: Un educated front office staff. Bad at communication. Doesn't even answer the phone calls after 6.00pm. The cashier lady thinks making payments throuh the cards is a huge sin. She will definitely throw your card somewhere you can't find.

Slow customer service process. Heavy sweating due to less air conditioned all floors. Actually there is no air conditioning in the waiting areas in up floors. So, people are uncomfortable with it.

Difficult to get services done.

And when it comes to the cost, sometimes reasonable. Sometimes not.

Really bad place to select, first - the poor service of receiving counter crew, they never even heard of costumer care, must be working in the government hospitals before , very rude set of team as you enter, so first impression totally gone. Second they charge astronomical amount even for a simple treatment especially if foreigner admitted they will rip him off same as beach boys in the area or street beggars. Third lack of experience doctors(people who work not sure even certified from a reputed institute) I never recommend this place unless you wish to have a heart attack by receiving their serviceand charges

Well,New Philips hospital is located in the corner of Kalutara Town,This hospital is equipped with most of the modern equipments.Also you can find most of the reputed specialized doctors in one place without wasting your time going here and there,Because it will take around 1 1/2 - 2 hours if you are going for a Colombo hospital. Friendly staff,convenient service and nice place.

All the conaultants of Kalutara general hospital cam be channel here.staff is friendly and well trained, Parking facilities availablebin front of the hospital but sometimes space may not sufficient then you can find parking space from hospital nearby.

Good OPD only. If you have to ward someone, pricing is more expensive than colombo nursing homes. Also watch the bill. Not the Rs 3875.00 room per night when you go to Pay. That adds up to about Rs 15,000.00 per night. They will even charge extra for linen changes but will never change the linen.
Owners know that all the people in the area have no choice as this is the only private nursing home in Kalutara.
Hope someone from Asiri/Nawaloka/Hema’s hospitals sees the potential in this market.

The service is terrible. The staff is inefficient and negligent as well. They tried to give a wrong medicine to a patient. Not enough staff to work and their only concern is getting your money.

Very poor customer service and the facilities. I have visited this place more than five times for channeling doctors. The last visit was the worst. I decided not to go to this place any more. I was waited nearly three hours with my three month old kid suffering from high fewer, though I get the number one appointment via e-channeling. Once the doctor arrived I questioned this from the doctor and she replied that hospital did not inform her about the patients so, she freely stayed at home. I really think that those all because of untrained, irresponsible staff members and greedy management who are just there for grasp money from the patients in any possible means.

Really disgusting service.

Very less customer friendly service. Poor surgical procedure. No gloves used.
I, an observer couldn't breathe in an operating theatre which was in a basement and felt like it was a parking lot. No air con at all. Totally useless place.
