  Nice place with nice surrounding. In one side endless sea with most beautiful sceneries. One of the best part of beaches though not safe to go into sea as place is deep. This is the only place I have seen in SriLanka paddies are close to sea with good harvest. And there are some Buddhist ruins which are some ruins of ancient Buddhism in eastern part of SriLanka. Its a inhabitants to crocodiles and elephants. Heda oya meets the sea very close to this place. During rainy season area is flooded with water brings by hedaoya from siyabalanduwa area. This is a must see place in a trip to eastern part of SriLanka. This place is situated in between arugambay and panama so you can visit this place before you go to panama from arugambay.

  I have not seen any tempel of any kind on or arround crocodile rock. The rock gives you an excellent view on the area arround it, but no tempel can be found.

  පොතුවිල සිට පානම දක්වා දිවෙන මාර්ගයේ කි.මී. 5ක් පමණ පැමිණ ප්‍රධාන මාර්ගයෙන් වම් අත දෙසට හැරී කුඩාකල්ලිය සංචාරක බංගලාව පිහිටි ස්ථානය දක්වා පැමිණ හැඩඔයේ අතුගංගාවක් මුහුදට පිවිසෙන මෙම ස්ථානය වෙත ලඟා විය හැක. නමුත් ඒ සඳහා කළපුවෙන් එතෙර වියයුතු වෙයි. නමුත් ඒ වෙනුවට පානම දෙසට ප්‍රධාන මගෙහි තවත් කි.මී 2.5ක් පමණ ගොස් කුඹුරු මදින් පිහිටි අඩිපාරවල් ඔස්සේ ද මෙම ස්ථානය පැමිණිය හැකි වෙයි.
  කුඩාකල්ලිය තරමක් උස් ගල් පර්වතයක් වන අතර එක්පසකින් කුඩා කළපුවටත් අනෙක් පසින් මුහුදටත් මුහුණලා පිහිටයි. මීට මදක් දකුණු දිශාවට වන්නට කිඹුලාගල නටඹුන් විහාරය පිහිටා තිබේ. මෙම ස්ථානය ඉතාමත් දර්ශනීය ස්ථානයක් වන අතර ඉපැරණි බෞද්ධ ආරාමයක නටඹුන් හා ඒ වෙත ලඟාවීමට ඉදිකළ අදටත් මනාව ඉතිරිව පවත්නා ගලින් කළ පියගැටපෙළක නටඹුන් ඉතිරිව පවතී. පර්වතය ඉදිරිපසින් කළපුවට මදක් ඔබ්බේන් තවත් කුඩා පර්වත දෙකක් දක්නට ලැබෙන අතර කළපුව මද්‍යයට වන්නට කුඩා දූපතක් ලෙස එය දක්නට ලැබෙයි.
  මෙම ස්ථානය වර්ෂ 2014 ඔක්තෝම්බර් මස 10 වන දින නිකුත් කළ ගැසට්පත්‍රය මගින් මෙම ස්ථානය පුරාවිද්‍යා භූමියක් ලෙසට නම්කොට ඇත.
